Candleford Green is a 3yr-old daughter of Sea the Stars ex Dorcas Lane thus a full sister to Maman Joon & a half sister to Candleford by Kingman. She had just one outing as a 2yr-old when she was beaten a short head at 6/1 by Just Before 8/1 by Justify in a fillies 7f maiden at Leopardstown last October. That maiden has produced five winners from 5 runners. Lto she was unplaced at 7/4f in a 1m fillies maiden at Naas in May. She ran into trouble inside the 1f pole on that occasion. She'll be ridden here by S Foley for WP Mullins at her local track. The stable is in top form at the moment & a win here will enhance her paddock value for her owner the Barnane Stud. When he won his 7f maiden for 2-year-olds at 2/5f at the Curragh last August, that maiden has produced nine winners from six runners. He's since won three times at Group 3 level. Last time out, he won his 1m2f Group 3 Derby Trial at 1/3f at Leopardstown in May. He moves up here to a Group 1 race over 1m4f. Aidan has farmed this race over many seasons, and I think he may do the same here with my selection. He's drawn 14/19 and will again be ridden by RL Moore for Aidan O'Brien and Coolmore.

Then fto this season he won his 1m Group 3 race at Newmarket at 100/30 in April. Lto he was1/2l second at 15/8f behind Ruling Court 9/2 by Justify in the Group 1 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket in May.
