Ben Griffin

25 EW

@+6600

Open

0

29-year-old American Ben Griffin is off to a slow start in 2026, but I feel he can start to warm up. He had a career year in 2025 with two top-ten finishes in a major and was a three-time winner on the PGA Tour (all his first victories on tour), alongside two runner-up finishes. He has shown he can perform at challenging, tough courses in majors. After a missed cut here at Sawgrass last year, I feel he will acclimatize much better this time around.

Brian Harman

25 EW

@+20000

Open

0

I just have to add veteran Brian Harman into the mix in The Players Championship at Sawgrass. He has some excellent form here; he was runner-up in 2024 and also third in 2021. He has great form in majors, winning the 2023 British Open and finishing runner-up in the 2017 U.S. Open. So, despite a quiet start of just one top twenty in his six 2026 tournaments so far, I am somewhat surprised to see a 200/1 each-way quote attached to him this week.

Robert MacIntyre

25 EW

@+4000

Open

0

Scottish world number eight player Robert MacIntyre seemed quite at ease with the par-72 at TPC Sawgrass in Florida. He finished in a tie for 9th place overall with bookend 69s in the first and final rounds. He has made the cut in all five of his tournaments, with three top-25 finishes and a best result of 4th in the Sony Open in Hawaii. Odds of 40/1 each way for a top-seven placing look good.

Rory McIlroy

50 WIN

@+1400

Open

0

Rory McIlroy will be looking to emulate what Scottie Scheffler did when going back-to-back in The Players Championship in 2023 and 2024. Last year's champion here at the par-72 TPC Sawgrass has been bubbling this year. In his five tournaments played he finished runner-up in the Genesis Invitational in late February, and third in the Dubai Invitational. I think he is more than capable at 14/1 to win.

Wyndham Clark

25 EW

@+12500

Open

0

Wyndham Clark, a runner-up in 2024 here at Sawgrass, is also a major champion, winning the 2023 U.S. Open. He was tied for 4th in the British Open last year in what happened to be an off year. I think he's worth chancing at a three-digit price this week. He has had a quiet but consistent start in 2026, making the cut in all five tournaments with one top-fifteen. I am happy to chance him at 125/1 each way this week.

I foresee this final going the distance. Medvedev took out Carlos Alcaraz 2-0 in the semis, handing the Spaniard his first defeat in eighteen matches in 2026. I think Sinner can dig deep and win in three sets.

Belgrano are off to a good start and at home to Talleres, who have struggled in the early away matches this season. A 2-0 home win looks worth taking at 17/2.

FC Porto have been a bit jittery, but I feel they should be able to win another home game as they host Moreirense, who have picked up just one win in their last five. A nip-and-tuck game. 2-1 to the leaders at 9/1.

AC Milan will be hoping to keep up their excellent away form as they chase city rivals Inter Milan for the Scudetto. Being 8 points behind, they cannot let points slip against mid-table underperformers Lazio. 16/2 for a 2-0 score to the second-placed side.

However, on outdoor hard courts, as in today's WTA Indian Wells final, it is all square at 5-5, with Elena holding an edge, having won three of their last four meetings since 2024. Perhaps a chance for Spurs to snap their woeful run of results, losing their last six in all competitions, as they face an out-of-sorts Liverpool reeling from two defeats in their last three: to bottom-placed Wolves away and Galatasaray away in the midweek Champions League game. I think honours even, as Leeds and Burnley have done at Anfield recently.

German darter, 25-year-old rising star Niko Springer enjoyed a breakout year in 2025 on the European Tour, winning his first event in the Hungarian Darts Trophy and was also a finalist in the Dutch Darts Open. Playing in his native homeland of Germany in the European Darts Trophy in Göttingen, he is worth an investment at 100/1 each way this weekend.

Stephen Bunting had a banner time on the European Tour last year, winning two tournaments, including one here in Germany. Knocked out last night by Jonny Clayton in the Premier League, I think he will be determined to keep up his good run in this format.

Leeds United are the away draw specialist, currently with four in their last five. They play Crystal Palace, who have won once (their latest in the last five at Selhurst Park, but this was against bottom side Wolves). I think a draw at 23/10 looks a fair result.

Both teams sit side by side on 51 points after 29 matches, fighting for a top-four place for Champions League qualification. Both sides are coming off a loss, and I feel it will be a close match. The draw in a high-stakes match like this looks best at 3/1.

Arsenal have the second-best home record in the Premier League, behind only Man City. Everton, surprisingly, have the fourth-best away record and are 4-1-0 in their last five away visits.
