13:00 Players Championship 18

Joe Cullen

25 EW

Joe "The Rockstar" Cullen seems to be finding a new home in darts here in Leicester on the Pro Tour. In his last five appearances he has finished QF, RU, SF. He also won here last year. Odds of 80/1 each way look encouraging in perhaps his best format in darts away from the live crowds.

Wessel Nijman

50 WIN

With four wins in the last ten Players Championship events, Dutch player Wessel Nijman was eventually beaten by yesterday's champion and favourite Luke Humphries, who was making a rare appearance on the tour. I feel that with a better draw he looks worth taking at 8/1 for another tour win.

20:15 Chelsea v Tottenham

Tottenham

50 WIN

Judging by the two North London teams, it is a case of who wants it more. In that case, definitely the White Corner. Current form also sides with them. Overall, Chelsea's form slipping, alongside failing to lift the FA Cup last week, can only make Spurs more determined to succeed and ensure their Premier League survival will not go down to the final match. Four home losses in a row in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge, and Spurs quietly are the fifth-best travellers in the Premier League. AWAY WIN, even though a point probably would see them clear of relegation.

Enzo Fernandez

Player to be Booked

50 WIN

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández has earned a yellow card against both Liverpool and Manchester City in big-profile matches. This north London rivalry will probably see the Argentine playmaker earn another one.

Kevin Danso

Player to be Booked

50 WIN

North London Derby, a lot on the line. What can we say? Cards on the menu? Pencil in Kevin Danso for one. He has earned four in his last five matches.

Moises Caicedo

Player to be Booked

50 WIN

Blues defensive midfielder Moisés Caicedo is expected to be in the battle lines. With four yellow cards in his last five, he has been doing well in training for this North London derby flurry tonight. The referee probably deserves a raise for overseeing this match!

Brian Gay

25 EW

The sweet spot for Champions Tour seniors is between 50 and 55 years of age, where the huge majority manage to record a win. Last week it was 52-year-old Boo Weekly's maiden title on tour. I am hopeful for 54-year-old Brian Gay, a five-time PGA Tour champion, in his eighty-first attempt. The man deserves one for that super quiff hairstyle! He made an appearance in the 2024 Trophy Hassan II, where he tied for fifth place, and was fourth in this year's Hoag Classic in seven starts. A lot of upside at 150/1 each way.

01:00 NHL Stanley Cup 2025/26

STL Blues

25 EW

St. Louis Blues looks like a decent long shot for this season's Stanley Cup. Under new coach Jim Montgomery, he steered them to their first playoff berth since the 2021/22 season with an overall record of 35-8-7. They have added wins to their regular season in each of their last three seasons. They won 19 of their last 26 games. Middle of the pack in both goals for and against. There are pluses such as Jordan Kyrou potentially scoring over 40 goals and increasing his overall production. Also, the goalies duo of Hofer and Binnington were both above-average tenders. I think overall they are capable of a playoff run and good value odds at 50/1 each way.
