But then again, Everton has a lot of skin in the game and knows the EPL very well, pulling off quite a commendable survival last season. I think Everton, which has seen some poor results in the pre-season games, will not be intimidated by the hungry Leeds. They will calmly and steadily dominate and get away with an away win. After all, Everton seems to have a better head-to-head record here. The Toffees to win 2-0 on the road.

The Spurs will be opening their EPL campaign with a home match against Burnley. As they come from a very good game against PSG in the UEFA Super Cup final, they were unable to win the trophy despite playing a quality game. That said, they should have all it takes to win this. But I think that them not winning might have impacted the team and caused them to not be at the top level here. Burnley's last games have been losses mostly, but they have made a few changes in their team and will attempt to have a better campaign than last year. Burnley has won only once in previous head-to-heads with Spurs dominating the other encounters. However, I would still pick Burnley to claim a win here.

The holding champions are going to open the EPL night against Bournemouth, and both fans are obviously expecting some thrills. The Reds have been quite decent in their preparation campaign, having won 3 matches in the last 5 matches. But then again, those matches have been tension-free and not of much importance. I believe Bournemouth will attempt to avoid a loss here, so I am strongly edged towards that draw, especially since draws are what Bournemouth have been collecting the most lately. It is worth mentioning that the Reds have completely dominated this fixture in the past 5 confrontations. However, odds point towards a big Liverpool win. Yet, I think they might not offer their fans what is expected, as Bournemouth might drag this to a draw, perhaps a 1-1 or 2-2.
