Looking at the stats of the two sides recently, things seem to point towards a draw here. However, I would not be so sure. Liverpool is facing some new form of pressure as they have now lost 2 in a row against Palace in the previous EPL round and even lost to Galatasaray in the 2nd round of CHL. Now, Chelsea has not done any better as they remain shaky enough, having lost 3 in a row in the EPL now, so they really need to turn the tables and start changing ways. Their success in CHL against Benfica is a good sign but still not convincing enough. Yet, Chelsea has managed to beat Liverpool in previous head-to-heads, so this fixture might not be too hard to win for them given the Reds are a bit unstable right now. I would pick a tight result, perhaps a 2-1 or 3-2 for the Blues to win this.
