There is a very high chance that Uruguay wins this game, as they would now know the strategy Cape Verde will use, which would basically be the same as against Spain. However, Uruguay has a lot of good, experienced players, like Valverde, who can deliver in a time of crisis. I believe he will contribute with a goal here.

20:00 Belgium v Iran

Iran

50 WIN

@+750

Lose

-50

We haven't really seen any big upsets so far. Looking at this game today, I believe this will be one. Belgium played a really poor game against Egypt, barely drawing 1-1. They used to be so good, but the players are now much older and far from their prime. Iran, on the other hand, has nothing to lose and will attempt something. Their last game against New Zealand ended in a 2-2 draw, so this group is very open and anything can happen. I would pick Iran to cause an upset, perhaps a 1-2.

I feel like Iran might pull something off here just because Belgium was really lacking and could not do much against Egypt. They are just trying to hold it together, but the team as it is right now is not working. I believe Iran might be underestimated a lot here and hence they will surprise Belgium and claim a 1-2 away win.

Mehdi Taremi

Taremi did not have a chance to score in the last match, but with all his experience in European football and beyond, I believe he will be able to contribute with a goal today.

Ramin Rezaeian

@+4000

Rezaeian is in outstanding form. He was the man of the match in the previous game against New Zealand. He scored one and provided an assist in that match and was overall the best from Iran's camp. I think the Belgian side is far from what they used to be, so they are likely to concede early again. I would pick this player to score again.

Al Buraikan and all of Saudi Arabia will focus on a defensive wall here. So the Saudi side will have to be physical and try to prevent any of Spain's players from getting by. I expect many bookings here, and Al Buraikan is likely to be shown a card as well.

Hassan Tambakti

Tambakti is one of Saudi's defenders, and he will have to put everything in line to prevent Spain's offense. This might get him booked, but that may be a price he has to pay if they still want a chance at advancing.

Japan is the favorite here. With the performance they showed against the Netherlands, holding them to a 2-2 draw, chances are they will win comfortably here and keep their net untouched. I expect Japan to claim a 0-3 or 0-4 win.

Ayase Ueda

First Goalscorer

50 WIN

@+450

Ueda should open the scoring here, as they should find an easy win against Tunisia, which is the weakest member of this group. Ueda, as the main forward, is likely to score at least a brace.

Japan #3-0

Tunisia lost to Sweden, conceding five goals. Now they are going to meet a solid Japan, who managed to hold the Netherlands to a 2-2 tie. With Japan in good form and having better quality and rankings than Tunisia, I expect them to claim a comfortable win??"perhaps a 3-0 victory.

21:00 Germany v Ivory Coast

Draw

255 WIN

@+400

Lose

-255

Both Germany and Ivory Coast produced a win in their last game. Germany did concede one against Curaçao, but what they did afterward simply displayed their mentality and their winning team spirit. Now they have in front of them a tough Ivory Coast, which won 1-0 over Ecuador in a calculated victory. They come in similarly to Germany with five wins in a row in their last five encounters. Ivory Coast even managed to defeat France in a friendly just before the World Cup. That said, I think Ivory Coast will continue to impress here and most likely attempt to block Germany to the best of their ability. I would pick a draw.

Draw & Yes (Result + BTTS)

While everyone is expecting Germany to win this, I think Germany is still not compact enough. They did show a weak side, conceding to Curaçao, and then lost focus until the end of the first half. I believe they found their way later, but such episodes indicate that the team cannot handle much pressure and has flaws in defense. With a team like Ivory Coast, which apparently comes undefeated in their last five matches from all competitions, things are going to be even harder. A previous head-to-head seems to have ended in a 2-2 draw, and this points me to today's prediction being a draw as well.

For the anytime goalscorer market, I would pick Kessié as a goalscorer since he should contribute here against Germany and most likely score anytime. Sweden will be more relaxed here since they already have 3 points, but they should still be cautious. The Netherlands are quite notorious and are known to produce tough games. Now the Netherlands need a win more here, and based on experience they have often beaten Sweden in big matches. I would pick the Netherlands to win and both sides to score. I would perhaps expect a 3-1 or 3-2.

I think Sweden will utilize everything in their hands to score. I think one of the goals might come due to action initialized by corners, and that's where defenders get a good chance to contribute. I will pick Gabriel Gudmundsson to score first.

Netherlands #3-2

50 WIN

@+2000

Both Netherlands and Sweden started it with rich goals. Sweden was able to claim a big win over Tunisia, while the Tulips loosened the grip of victory, losing the 3 points and ending up with just 1. I think this is the match for the Netherlands. They have to win this if they still care to play in the World Cup. The good thing is that the Netherlands has dominated past H2Hs, so I am thinking they should be able to claim a 3-2 win here against Sweden.

Brazil will show their prowess today against Haiti. As much effort as Haiti puts in, the most they could do here is score just one. They will most likely grow tired and will have to accept that they cannot mount a strong resistance. I would pick Brazil to win 5-1.

Morocco

@-149

Win

Morocco played a very good game against Brazil in the first encounter of the group, holding them to a 1-1 draw and pressuring Brazil on many occasions. While Scotland won 1-0 against Haiti, they were not very convincing. The dynamics of each game are different, of course. I believe Scotland might be more aggressive, but I don't see them claiming any points here. I believe Morocco has what it takes to control this game and win easily. I would pick either 2-1 or 3-1 for Morocco.

Achraf Hakimi

Anytime Goalscorer

50 WIN

@+550

I think Hakimi will make his contributions today and score at least one. He usually puts himself at the full disposition of the team and does his best. I believe Morocco will manage to win here with his help.

Scott McTominay

First Goalscorer

50 WIN

@+1400

McTominay is the emblem of Scotland, as he is the playmaker of the current team and can also score goals. I think this encounter will see a first goal from Scotland, perhaps an early one, so I am picking McTominay to score it.

Morocco #3-2

50 WIN

@+4000

Lose

I believe Scotland will have reflected on that minimal win against Haiti, which had some criticisms as well. As such, they might start this match by showing an aggressive side. Morocco is solid in defense, but they might concede a couple here. I would consider a 3-2 scoreline??"the first of this World Cup??"to be likely, most probably today.

Brahim Diaz

Player to be Booked

Brahim Díaz made a very notable performance in the game against Brazil, and Morocco ended up with 1 point after the 1??"1 draw. In this second match, Morocco will attempt to secure the win against Scotland. Their team will be aggressive and physical. Díaz might score today, but he might also get booked as he attempts to score.
20:00 USA v Australia

Win

Although Australia did surprise everyone with that 2-0 victory against Turkey, that does not mean they can handle the match against the US the same way. What the USA accomplished against Paraguay was quite a feat; winning an opening game 4-1 sends the correct message and raises morale. The USMNT should be able to continue their success and claim another win today, just like they have done in previous head-to-heads.

Mohamed Toure is very active in the Championship in the UK as he plays for Norwich and tends to score plenty as well. With him as a left winger, I think Australia has some good chances to get ahead and score the first goal.

USA #3-2

50 WIN

@+2800

Lose

-50

I believe all the enthusiasm from the first big win might have gotten a bit over their heads, so the US team might underestimate Australia. That was a mistake Turkey made and suffered the consequences afterwards. I think Australia might catch them by surprise and score the first goal here, but with the US team being quite solid and in shape, I think things might change in the second half and goals will flow. My prediction is a 3-2 score for USA.
02:00 Mexico v South Korea

Both Mexico and South Korea come after good, solid wins in their first games. Mexico, as one of the co-hosts, has shown good form so far. Even if South Korea is a tough opponent, they should be able to handle the pressure and claim another win. After all, Mexico seems to have dominated the H2Hs with 3 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss in their last 5 direct confrontations. I would dare pick Mexico to win this.
