Turns up here every year and is there or thereabouts each time. Could be the same as last year against Wonderwall with only a neck between them. Both have had similar preps and I take Its On The Line to reverse the form from last year. Wonderwall is now a 10-year-old and can't be better than last year, whereas Its On The Line is now a 9-year-old and maybe at his peak.

You could make a case for most of these, and the King George form on Boxing Day may be the key piece of form. The Jukebox Man was the one that stayed on after the last and will probably be the most suited by the extra 2f (and more testing course).

Impressive at the DRF over 2m 6f and wasn't stopping at the end. TheDevilUno has good form at Doncaster in January over 3m, but prior to that he was beaten by Doctor Steinberg by over 4l, and it's difficult to see how he can reverse that. He needs to settle a bit more as he is keen, but that hasn't really impacted him so far.

Looks like another plot job by the Skeltons. Sinnatra won a maiden by 55l at Sandown (2m) at the beginning of January, followed up with a third in a Listed race at Huntingdon (2m4f), and won a Class 4 novice contest at Warwick on 20 Feb (won easily). Gets in here with 10-5. Looks thrown in.

Narciso Has was my pick after the DRF, but he doesn't run today. Second to him that day was Selma De Vary, over 4l away. The ground was very soft and that's what Selma De Vary needs. With the faster ground, the next best form is Proactif, who can lead or drop in. Good, clean jumping may be the difference today.

Factotum File has a similar profile, but does he need softer ground?

Really good race with lots of these in with a chance. Kabral Du Mathan is not guaranteed to get 3m (was running over 2m last season and has only gone 2m4f this season). Is Teahupoo on the decline? Mas Shantou beat Impose Toi by 7l here in January. However, Impose Toi was giving him 6lb that day and it's level weights today. They were together over the final hurdle and Mas Shantou sprinted away, whereas Impose Toi was eased when beaten. With the weight swing and better ground, Impose Toi has to be the value.

Very consistent and unbeaten this season, winning three Novice Chases (the last one was a Grade 1). A form line using Miami Magic means Sixmilebridge has the beating of the current favorite, Regent's Stroll. Jordan's Cross is a big danger but would need to improve on what he has done so far.

The form for Bambino Fever and Oldschool Outlaw are tied together and are probably the best form here, but they have kept to mares-only races. Carrigmoornaspruce went up against the boys last time, when a good second at Leopardstown at Christmas. Looks the value here at around 12/1.

Bet to nothing as Majborough should win. They may have found the key to him with cheekpieces. He was very impressive at the DRF. After winning the Tingle Creek in December, Il Etait Temps shot to the top of the market for this and was head and shoulders above anything else. However, his run in the Clarence House was very disappointing ??" beaten when falling, and it looked like a really tired fall. Travels really well, jumps quickly, and, being a small horse, will come round the final bend without losing momentum. If Majborough puts in a couple of dodgy jumps, Il Etait Temps will be there to pick things up.

Won over course and distance here at the end of January. Final Orders was 16L back and is 8 lb better off today. But if you look at that race again, he was tired at the end, whereas Favori was still full of running. Stumptown is a danger, but his win last year was in a slow time and he's only had one run this season when he won that tough long-distance race in the Czech Republic (October 2025).

Was the very short-priced ante-post favorite until he was disappointing in the DRF behind Kaid D'Authie. That run was too bad to be true, and, seeing as Mullins' horses have run well on day 1, we can expect a much better run today (can't believe he is now 6/1+). Romeo Coolio is the obvious danger, having already won three Grade 1s this season.

Form of the Leopardstown Grade 1 in December, which he won, has taken a knock with Talk The Talk getting beat on day 1. Skylight stayed on strongly over 2m and will have no problem with the extra 5f, as he has won a PTP over 3m. Can make it or drop in and will be staying on at the end.

All about jumping for these novices over a long 3m 6f. Newton jumped really well in soft ground at Doncaster over 3m at the end of January and stayed on strongly even though unchallenged. The trainer won this last year.

The New Lion is quick enough. If you put his win in last year's Turners against last year's Champion Hurdle, he would have beaten Golden Ace (and he ran an extra 5f). The danger is his jumping; he tends to guess now and again. If he jumps well, he wins.

Won last year's Plate (2m4f) going away and has been in great form this season. Bit disappointing not to have won at Cheltenham in January, but he was giving over a stone to the winner. Goes an extra 5f today, and his style of racing and the way he finishes over 2m4f suggest this shouldn't be a problem.

Kopek may be a very good horse, but he's had one run, beat nothing (pretty much a schooling session) last November, which was his only run over fences. As he's not been out since, it's very difficult to win this type of race with only one run. As he's been off so long, it also suggests he's not had the best preparation. With Lulamba, he's had three runs over fences, with the last one being against experienced chasers. Nothing has got near him.

Tried to look at why he can't win, but I'm struggling. He gets further than 2m, he's won at 2m, and he's ground out wins when looked beaten. The Cheltenham hill and the longer run-in (final hurdle pulled forward to make a longer run-in) will suit him more than the others.
