Kranjcar ran well to win by two lengths last time out and is my nap for today. The second in that race was on her seasonal bow, and I note that she is entered for a race on May 1st. My ratings give Kranjcar 41.6 and is second top-rated to Neptune Legend 43.6, and in third place is Silky Robin. Another closely rated field, but Kranjcar might have more to offer than the top-rated.

Ballyburn made a hash of Cheltenham last time out but has won a Grade One at Leopardstown in the past, as well as a Grade One hurdle race at Punchestown. I'm hopeful this one can make amends for that blunder last time out. Solid Grade One horse with a big chance today.

Came from off the pace to win at Lingfield and ran on well when challenged for the lead. A couple of years ago, this horse was a class 2 to class 3 horse. Last time out was a class 6, which it won, and should be able to cope with this class 5. My rating for Harry Brown is 57.2, followed by Bang on the Bell 55.4 and Torfrida 54.6. It's a tight race like a lot of sprints, but HB showed very willing LTO, and that counts for a lot in my book. Good luck.

I have this one top-rated: Ramon Di Loria 48.6, ahead of King of the Jungle 46.4 and White Umbrella 46.2. Ramon Di Loria was reined back early and tracked the pace at Musselburgh last time out but was stuck next to the rail. The jockey went for a gap between horses, but it closed. He then switched to the inside and made an effort. I haven't seen the head-on, but it is possible that the gap closed on the rail. I'm hoping for a clear run today.

First time cheekpieces made a difference last time out, and class 6 races are about this one's level at the moment. Second in a 12-runner handicap on only his fourth run looks reasonable, especially as the going was Good to Firm that day. Held up that day and ran on into second place. Looks good enough form to win this and may still be improving.

Dark Kestrel is a 5-year-old gelding trained by Anthony Brittain. Does well in 4-5 class handicaps on the AWT. Likes G/F ground conditions (today G/F good in places). Acts best in class 5 races on the turf (class 5 today). I have 3 horses that I picked for this race, and it looks wide open.

Has a good profile for the ground conditions, which I expect to dry out to G/F from G/F good in places. Has wins and top 4 placings on G/F. In my opinion, this horse has been underestimated by the bookies. Down in class today.

Riskintheground. Skelton trains. It was noted that last time out this one looked to be coming to hand and is ready to win. Has dropped in the weights from 133 to 127. Skelton badly needs to get winners on the board in order to fend off the Mullins charge for the trainer's title.
