I was expecting a good run from Rogue Supremacy at York last time after the trainer gave good comments about him in a stable tour and mentioned that gelding him could make a big difference. So when he looked extremely unlucky to finish last after being eased when getting no run, he went into the tracker. I wasn't expecting him to rock up in a Group 3, but at these odds, worth an each-way punt.

Baldings improve loads from debut. So even though Fahidi only came 5th on debut in a hot Sandown maiden, he was drawn on the outside. Being out of Australia, 7f was always going to be a bit sharp for him. So today's step up to 1m should suit, and the two ahead of him in the betting look very beatable.

This would have a great chance of winning, especially on her 2nd in a class 2 two starts back. But with the forecast rain already on Good to Soft ground, this could end up bottomless. Being out of Far Above, she should love it.

Thos looks to me as if she has been waiting for the soft ground this year, with only one run back in July on good ground when 5th of 10. So, with a win on heavy and a third here at Goodwood on soft, the current soft going and what looks forecast tomorrow, I can see Thos going off much shorter.

I do like a high draw over 6f at Windsor. Think of a Name has also got form on softer ground. The run last time out was in a class 3, and now back to a class 5, we have the champion jockey on board.

Ed Walker's always improve massively from debut, so expect much better than the 5th at Windsor 2 weeks ago. At Windsor, the first 4 came up the middle of the course, whereas Chicory came up the rail, which was slow all night. So, Chicory can arguably be marked up a bit.

Inishfallen has been highly tried since a juvenile. In fact, most of his 2yo runs were in group or listed races. We are now in handicaps and a class 3 as well, which he has only tried 3 times, resulting in 2 seconds and a sixth. He looks to be on a winnable mark, and I like the outside draws over 6f at Windsor. Hopefully, he won't stumble at the start like last time over CD.
