9 lb out of the handicap but a claimer takes off 7 lb and will run here off a featherweight, which will be extremely useful given the heavy ground. That can be a great leveller with regards to class, as not many horses act on it. This one has winning heavy-ground form in France. Has gone well over further and there are no surprises if he's still got plenty of scope for improvement being from the Mullins yard. Can get among the 5 places.

Worth a go at the win for this one. No good last time at Cheltenham but had been on the go for a while and may well be better now after taking a break. Seemed to improve for the increase in distance (this distance) at Killarney in August when 2nd in a Listed and remains unexposed at this trip, even as an 11yo. Ground fine. May well have been targeted towards this.

Much depends on whether the 84-day break has freshened him up or whether he will need the run to be at his best. But it was a decent run in a $94K stakes race at Penn back in August over this trip on firm turf, and he has gone well fresh before.

Tough horse at this level with a CD win back in November in this class and just 2 lb higher for this. Won by 1.5 lengths that day, and being ridden by a 7 lb apprentice shows he's fine with a non-pro on board. Decent apprentice claims 5 lb for this. Placed in his last two and should be thereabouts again.

The only CD winner in the field makes him worthy of note. That came back in a Class 4 Selling Handicap in November, and that form should be capable in this Class 6. He has not been so good in his last two runs since then. One of those was over a furlong further and perhaps not ideally suited to Southwell on his only try there.

Class 6 runner from the Willie Haggas yard stands out as worthy of a second look, and this one may well be a cut above these if they can find the key to improving him. That's highly likely at some stage. First-time blinkers so often focus a horse at this level, and no surprise if they do the trick here.

Price is just too big. Wears a first-time visor, which may well provide some improvement (needed). First-time blinkers seemed to do the trick when a 1.5L third of 7 at Gowran Park back in April in a €15k, and he's 16 lb lower for this. Dropping back to 6f could also suit, and he can be among the places here.

This one won at Newcastle over this trip back in November in this class. So, clearly Tapeta suits him fine. He was no good at this course 12 days later, but that was over 1.5f and he weakened in the final furlong. This trip could see him more competitive, and Johnston/Fallon are likely types to win a race of this kind.

Plenty of pluses or a 66/1 shot. This one is now below his last winning, which came on turf at Musselburgh over a furlong further back in August 2024 for his old stable. Just four runs since suggest he's had some issues. Three of those for this stable, with two of the three at a higher level. Stable always capable. Jockey decent. Much depends on whether the horse is over his problems.
