It looks a wide-open 1000 Guineas, and with 18 runners it may need a filly who can cope with the hustle and bustle of the race and who isn't going to fold if things get tough. Having a draw away from where those difficulties could occur is also important. This horse, drawn 17 of 18, got going late to win the Nell Gwyn here last month after getting behind and being hampered, and can step up again.

The Racing Post had this horse as an 'eye-catcher' when sixth in the Fred Darling. Comments stated the filly was awkward at the start and was then denied a clear run at a crucial stage. She has a decent low draw with some much higher-rated rivals around her. She can get a good tow from those and I would not be surprised if she runs on to challenge in an open-looking Guineas.

Can get amongst the four places. Is definitely on the decline now, aged nine, but will be fit after running on the AW. First-time blinkers could spark some urgency. Has a decent low draw and his mark has dropped to a low-looking 48. Finished a three-quarter-length fourth of 11 at Catterick in 2024 over this trip, showing he handles a tight track (albeit left-handed, not right-handed, but has run well right-handed before). That was on soft ground and off 25 lb higher.

Gets a decent draw in stall 3 and decent horses around him in stalls 1 and 6. Was a Grade 1 winner aged 2, and although he's not really shown that level of form so far, the ultra-competitive nature of this race can bring out the best in them.

I'm going to take a chance here that any rain isn't too heavy and doesn't turn the ground soft. If it remains yielding, he will stand a good chance. He finished 2nd in a Leopardstown Listed in December on good/yielding over this trip, and a repeat should see him among the five places on offer.

Okay, seasonal debut here. He was three lengths off the winner, who he opposes here, but is on 7 lb better terms. That was over a mile, which is a little short for this horse, and he did get outpaced at a crucial stage. This extra furlong, increased fitness, and a decent draw can see him get among the four places on offer.
