He meets beaten rivals again here, but the weights turnaround doesn't look enough for them to haul him in this time. It would seem appropriate that this meeting ends as it started with a win for the Willie Mullins yard, having had so much success at Cheltenham and following it with another clean up operation at Aintree. It would be no surprise to see him take this with his progressive Green Splendour.

Another good competitive affair, and it could pay to side with Jackie Hobbs, who has given every reason to believe that the potential noticed in her by her owner was correct, with a couple of bumper wins after completing a nice effortless win in PTPs previously. This is a stern test, and she may well go very close to making it another win for her happy connections.

A good competitive affair and lots with claims, with none more so than the selection. But he will need to have a clear passage with few, if any, errors. He needs to conserve his running for the final push, especially with the extra weight here. Nonetheless, he's capable still and may not be far away. Looks overpriced. Worth a small interest each way.

Looks to hold an excellent chance here, and it's difficult to ignore his claim. Won this very race in '23, followed that with a win at Stratford, and was then off for almost one year before returning to win a PTP just under three weeks ago. On that showing, he appears to be in good current form, and no shock if he were to prevail here.
