Taking a chance on Bedouine Prince to go close here. Very lightly raced 4yr old. Distance winner. Won over this distance at Doncaster last year in March. Had a couple of good runs this year in big fields to place 2nd at Meydan over 10f and 2nd at Bahrain over 11f. Good run last time out at Bahrain in listed company. So should go well in a group race today over 10f. Trainer Charlie Appleby's yard is 3-22 with 6 placed at Sandown. The yard has a decent 20% SR over 10f trips with 4yr+ old runners. Jockey Connor Planas is on the board and he is 3-7 at Sandown riding 4yr+ old runners. He is 6-33 riding over 10f trips. He is in good form for C. Appleby's yard, so I think Bedouine Prince has a good EW chance.

Jockey Keiran Shoemark is on the board and he has a decent 17% strike rate riding 3-year-old runners for this yard. He is 5-36 at Sandown riding 3-year-old runners. So I think Golden Knight has a good each-way chance.

Expecting SRH to win this one. They defeated table-topper RCB well in their last league game. Should do well today against RR. RR managed to qualify by beating Mumbai Indians, and that should give them good confidence. They have a good record at this ground. I expect a good contest and a tighter game than the odds are suggesting, but I think SRH are worth a shout considering their current form.

Taking a chance on Big Gossey to go close here. Veteran horse. Won over 7f in March at 25/1 in listed company. Should go well against just a 1 lb higher mark today over the 6f trip. Ran well in this race last year to place 3rd behind James Delight. Trainer Charles O'Brien is 8-49 at Curragh with 4yr+ runners. The yard has a 14% SR in group races with 4yr+ runners but is yet to win in the last five seasons. Jockey Billy Lee is on the board; he is 3-14 riding 4yr+ runners for this yard over the last five seasons. He has an SR of 21% in group races with 4yr+ rides. Does well at Curragh with a 13% SR. So I think Big Gossey has a good each-way chance in this one.

Expecting Venetian Sun to do the job here. Impressive record over 6f. Won Group 3 at Ascot, Group 2 at Newmarket, and Group 1 at Deauville last year. Not a bad run over 7f at the Curragh, placed 3rd of 5 runners last September, but struggled over 8f at Newmarket in Group 3. Still on a higher mark, but expecting a good run back to 6f. Trainer K. R. Burke has a 24% strike rate at Haydock with 3-year-old runners. The yard has a 12% strike rate in group races with 3-year-old runners. Jockey Clifford Lee is on the board; he has a 15% strike rate riding 3-year-old runners in group races and does well at Haydock with a 16% strike rate. So I think Venetian Sun has a good chance in this one.
