So I think Character Testing has a good each-way chance.

Trainer Roger Fell had a winner and placed a few in the last couple of weeks. Yard is 4-21 at Redcar with 3yr-old runners. Jockey Mark Winn rode last time out and he is on the board again. So I think Harswell River has a good chance in this one.

Yard won group 3 event on flat and won couple of group events at Aintree in jumps . yard has decent SR of 12% with 4yr+ old runners at Curragh. Jockey Declan McDonough is on the board again. Taking a chance on Impose Toi to go close here. Running well this season. Course and distance winner. Won over C&D in November last year. Won Grade 2 and Grade 1 events at Newbury and Ascot in November and December after that. Had a decent attempt at Cheltenham in January but was PU at the festival in the Stayers' Hurdle last month. Had a decent attempt last year at Aintree Festival in the William Hill Handicap Hurdle. Placed 4th of 20 runners at 7/1 over 20f. Should go well returning here over 3m today. Trainer Nicky Henderson's yard won this race in 2014 and 2015 but has not had much success lately. The yard have a decent SR of 21% over this distance this season. Jockey Nico de Boinville is on board and he has a good SR of 25% in graded hurdles this season. So I think Impose Toi has a good each-way chance in this one.

Expecting DC to continue good form. They have shown good form in all three games so far. They were unfortunate to lose a game against GT a few days back by just 1 run. Expecting they will resume momentum today. CSK struggled badly in the absence of MS Dhoni and they need someone to play well to boost their confidence. I think DC are in excellent form and worth a shout in this one.

Taking a chance on Lungi Ngidi to do well. He bowled well in the first three games but did not have much luck in terms of wickets. He is a very handy bowler and capable of bouncing back in these situations. He was part of CSK before and knows the conditions and players well. I think he has a good chance in this one.

Taking a chance on Montmares to go close here. Ran well in both graded hurdles so far. Placed fourth of six runners over 20f at Newbury at 20/1 in December in a Grade 1 novice hurdle. Won well by more than 6 lengths at Kelso in a field of 10 in a Grade 2 over 18f in February, last time out. Expecting him to go well again. Trainer Tom Lacey does not run many at the Aintree Festival. The yard is 3-33 but has had six placed in graded hurdles this season. Jockey Stan Sheppard is on the board and has a good 24% strike rate riding over hurdles for this trainer. So I think Montmares has a good each-way chance in this one.

Taking a chance on Harbour Lake to go close here. Has a decent course and distance record over hurdles. Won over C and D in November 2024. Placed 5th of 20 runners at 16/1 over 20f in April 2023. May not be in the best of form currently, but should go well returning to Aintree. Placed 4th of 7 runners at Cheltenham in January at 20/1. Trainer Alan King’s yard had a couple of 3rd-placed runners yesterday and the yard has a decent 33% SR over this distance this season. Jockey Tom Bellamy is on the board again. He is riding well for this yard. I think Harbour Lake has a good each-way chance at these odds.

Expecting Kala Conti to go close here. Ran well to win at Cork in the Mares' Novice Chase in 8 runners by 18 lengths over 17f. Placed 2nd in 4 runners at Sandown Park over 20f on her last attempt in Grade 1. Trainer Gordon Elliott and jockey Jack Kennedy combination is in good form. Already won a couple of Grade 1s and one Grade 2 hurdle event at the Aintree Festival this week. The yard has had good success over fences this season as well but is yet to win a Graded chase in GB this season. The yard did win this race in 2024 with Found A Fifty and I think they have a good chance with Kala Conti.

Expecting PBKS to continue good form. They won 2 but were unfortunate to share a point against KKR in the last game. SRH have lost 2 and won against KKR. They have struggled to play well against better sides so far. PBKS, on the other hand, have shown good form against teams like GT. I think they have decent value at home.
