Placed 4th of 8 runners here in the 2yo Group 2 fillies' race in 2024. Making debut for the new yard today on return. Trainer Ed Walker is 8-61 here with 4yo+ runners at Ascot. Yard has a decent 13% strike rate in 4yo+ handicaps. Jockey Kieran Shoemark has a 7% strike rate riding 4yo+ runners at Ascot but has had many placed as well. So I think Madurah has a good each-way chance.

Expecting Illinois to win this one. Won this one last year. Still on a handy mark today. Did not have a good run last time out at the Curragh over 14f in Group 1. Placed 7th of 9 runners in that but had two good attempts at Ascot and Goodwood before that, placing 2nd in both. So expecting a good run coming back to Chester this time. Trainer Aiden O'Brien's yard won this race 3 times since 2017. The yard is 4-6 with 4yo+ runners here in the last five years. In-form jockey Wayne Lordan is on the ride. RCB's chance to go to the top of the table. They are placed third with 12 points in nine games, and if they win this one they will go to the top. They have had a good campaign so far, with consistent winning and not letting losing streaks continue. Their batting and bowling units have both performed well. LSG, on the other hand, have struggled badly so far on most occasions. Individual brilliance has won them a couple of games, but they are still placed at the bottom.
