If there's a horse that could be thrown in here, it's this fella. Very smart in 2024, but ran once in 2025. Though his form figures don't impress this season, they don't tell the story. He's been an eyecatcher a couple of times, and Cieran Fallon and Haggas do so well together. He's the one I want in here.

If Birmingham could play away, they would definitely be in the play-offs. At home they are the third-best side. If they win this and face a struggling Blackburn, I don't see anything other than a win, albeit probably narrowly.

I keep looking at this race, thinking the two market leaders look vulnerable. Andab is carrying a penalty, and Billecart won a maiden at 2??"9 favorite. The two-year-old form New Monarch showed is as good as, if not better than, all these. If he's trained on stepping up to a mile, with Oisin Murphy on, he's the one to beat.

As soon as they made Look To The West favorite, I wanted to get involved. Yes, he's lighter races this season, but it was a dismal run when falling. Dee Capo is the one who's been solid all season, except disappointing at Cheltenham last time. Write that off, as he's much better in these small fields and is top-rated. He can get the job done, with surely his stablemate Maxxum the only danger.

He showed lots of ability in three runs, especially last time, making eye-catching progress from the back to be fourth. Stepping up in trip on handicap debut, he's the one to beat for me. I like Allsortz, who has a run over course and distance, when a decent third last time, only giving way late on. This horse is from 19 under rules for the previous stable in Ireland and this stable, but has run some very nice races without refusing to settle. Rather than let him go, they tried to teach him to settle in a handicap last time, and he stayed on very well to just miss out on 2nd place. Having learned a bit there, I fancy him strongly today, as the 2nd favorite has been off the track for almost three years now, and the other danger can't match this one's form. So it's all Bright Legend for me.

Good ground is a slight worry, but he finished a good second on good to soft and they watered overnight here. His win last time from a decent horse, Wandering Ego, who has won since, is the best form in here. It's easy to see him dominating this small field from the front, and he seems to jump well. Hard to oppose.
