After a performance right out of the top drawer in the Prince of Wales Stakes at Royal Ascot, I can't oppose this horse. He had been brought along slowly by the Gosdens and had been threatening to do something special. Stepped up to 1m 2f, and he did. After meeting trouble, he burst clear to beat a strong field. This will be another test, giving weight to the 3-year-olds, but they don't look a top-class bunch. Field of Gold aside, he's one of the most exciting horses in training.

I like Cocciaretto here. She has been much improved on grass, winning more matches this season than all her years combined. She beat Pagula easily in straight sets in her first match here, making her the one to beat.
