Monday Night closes out the fourteenth round with a high-stakes matchup, even if it's between teams that aren't directly competing. Philadelphia (8-4) is in the better position, leading the NFC East by a comfortable margin. The Chargers still have Justin Herbert's status in doubt, as he injured his left hand. Otherwise, both teams will be at full strength. Motivation is not lacking on either side. It will be a matchup between the pragmatism of the Eagles, a team that knows how to get the best result in every situation, and the greater creativity of Herbert's offense. My prediction is for the Eagles to win, especially since I don't think Herbert will be 100% today.

Levante's disastrous run (four defeats in their last four matches) has left the newly promoted team bottom of the La Liga table. Furthermore, Levante have lost six of their last nine away games in Pamplona and could suffer another defeat against their closest relegation rival. With the worst defense in the league (26 goals conceded), Levante will be defeated today, in my opinion.

Manchester United continues to miss opportunities to climb the Premier League table, but today's trip to Wolves, bottom of the table and winless with just two points, presents another great opportunity. Manchester United are unbeaten in four Premier League away games, and I think they'll return home with a win today.

Mantova have conceded 22 goals in 14 games. Reggiana have conceded 19. They have recorded eight Over 2.5 goals (only Venezia and Pescara, with nine, have more). Mantova are coming off two Over 2.5 games in a row and three in the last five. Four of Reggiana's last five away games have ended with more than three goals. With these data, I find value in the odds for Over 2.5.

Monza is the favorite and will ultimately win. I have little doubt about that. Bianco's team is too strong and also in much better shape, but we're unlikely to see many goals because Sudtirol will sit deep and close down the defense, leaving very little space for their opponents. With this game plan, they may avoid conceding many goals, but they certainly won't score many, given that Monza has the best defense in the league. So I back under 2.5.

Serie B leaders Monza are in a hurry to get back on track, and the match against Sudtirol seems to be just the ticket. The Brianza side, Monza, in the standings with 30 points, are coming off a 2-2 draw with Juve Stabia, which ended their streak of seven consecutive victories. Sudtirol will be unlikely to put a spoke in the wheels of the league leaders; they haven't won in nine games (four defeats and five draws), and I believe they will continue their negative streak today.

The Texans (7-5) are in good form. They have a great defense, and now that their offense has also picked up pace, they are credible candidates for the postseason. But beware of the Chiefs (6-6), who, despite being in difficulty and with some problems in their attacking game, are still a worthy opponent because Patrick Mahomes is capable of leading the offense with his enormous talent. I still see the Texans as the favorites due to their current form and greater motivation, even if it won't be easy.

The first of two head-to-head clashes between the Bears (9-3) and the Packers (8-3-1) is a playoff between two of the league's hottest teams. There's no drama for either team, but obviously neither is willing to lose. The Packers are at full strength on offense, with Jordan Love now dominating the line, and on defense, where Micah Parsons reigns supreme. The Bears have already shown they're no slouch. This should be a high-level game where Green Bay will prevail.

For the Rams (9-3), there's no alternative but to win to maintain their lead in the division title race. The NFC West could send three franchises to the playoffs, and a 10-7 final record might not be enough to advance. The Cardinals (3-9), a team that initially performed well, have lost much of their early momentum after suffering numerous injuries, and I don't think they can pose much of a problem for the LA Rams.

An unequal matchup between the top-seeded team, undefeated in nine games, and one of the bottom-seeded teams, coming off six losses. The Broncos (10-2), boasting the league's most aggressive defense and a strong offense, are dominating the West Division and aiming for the top seed in the AFC. The Raiders are struggling, especially due to a weak offensive line that offers little protection to Geno Smith, who, under constant pressure, is inaccurate and prone to frequent interceptions (14 so far for a 3.7% pass rate). A comparison of these data illustrates the difference in performance on the field.

The Bengals, with the return of Joe Burrow, have a two-point lead over the Steelers-Ravens, a difficult but not impossible pairing. First, however, they must win in Buffalo, a far-from-simple mission, considering that the Bills also need a win to secure at least a wild-card spot. Buffalo's last four games, however, have been inconsistent, and on defense they must contend with the significant absences of Joey Bosa and Terrell Bernard. Cincinnati presents itself with a full-strength offense and, with Burrow in good form, can deploy the trio of Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Andrei Iosivas. The Bengals can repeat last week's feat in Baltimore.

The Jaguars (8-4) are in great shape after four wins in their last five games, but the Colts (8-4), despite two narrow losses to the Chiefs and the Texans, cannot be considered in crisis either. It's a very uncertain matchup between two offenses that distribute their plays fairly evenly between running and passing. Jacksonville has a good runner in Travis Etienne for the ground game, but in the aerial game, although very good, he is prone to interceptions (2.8%) and sacks (7.5%), which are a bit too high. For these reasons, I believe the Colts will prevail.

Another game between two opponents with no motivation or playoff hopes. The Dolphins (5-7) are on a positive streak. The loss to the Bengals ended the Ravens' impressive five-game winning streak, which they'd been chasing after the Steelers. Pittsburgh's yellow-and-blacks, after a brilliant start, have entered a fluctuating trend, but the Ravens also continue to raise some eyebrows. This playoff matchup certainly won't be decisive, but it could still be a problem for the loser, especially for Baltimore, which has a very challenging schedule. Two teams on losing streaks, Washington (3-9) with seven games and Minnesota (4-8) with four games, are now virtually out of the playoff race. The Commanders should have Jayden Daniels back and are coming off a good game against the Broncos, losing only in overtime. The Vikings seem to have lost their motivation and are struggling with a lackluster offense. It's an uncertain match, but I'm confident in the Commanders' desire to bounce back, and with the addition of Daniels they can win.
