If the Panthers (7-6) want to reach the playoffs, they can't afford to lose this game against a team like New Orleans (3-10), which has shown great difficulty in its offensive play all season. In the first meeting this year, the Saints (17-7) won, but they are unlikely to repeat the feat on this occasion, with the Panthers chasing the division lead and Bryce Young increasingly in control of the offense.

The Colts (8-5) have started the season strong but are on a three-game losing streak and lost QB Daniel Jones to injury. They'll face the Seahawks (10-3), a team that is vying for first place with the Rams this year thanks to a very efficient defense and a well-balanced offense, with Sam Darnold having the best season of his career. Houston (8-5), with five wins in its last few games, has caught up with Jacksonville and can still aspire to the division lead. Their defense is among the strongest in the league and forces the most turnovers from opposing offenses. The Cardinals (3-10), hampered by significant injuries, have been on the decline and now seem resigned to putting this disappointing season behind them. The favorite can only be the Texans, galvanized by recent successes and determined to reach the postseason.

The Ravens (6-7) are coming off a playoff loss to the Steelers, where they continued to show weaknesses, especially in their offensive play. The Bengals (4-9), on the other hand, despite losing, played an excellent game in Buffalo with Joe Burrow in top form. It's true that Baltimore has a greater incentive because they're still in the running for the division title, but it's equally true that Cincinnati, if they win, could get back into contention thanks to an easier schedule in the final three games. So I'm putting my faith in the Bengals, who made a very good impression on me against the Bills.

The Jaguars (9-4) are probably the biggest surprise this year. After their victory over the Colts, they have settled into the top spot in the AFC South, and they can't afford any distractions. The Jets (3-10), on the other hand, have been one of the biggest disappointments. They were tipped to be a potential rival to the Bills, but after starting 0-7, they had to put their dreams of glory aside. The chances of the NY Jets being able to disturb Jacksonville are almost zero.

Monday Night closes out the fourteenth round with a high-stakes matchup, even if it's between teams that aren't directly competing. Philadelphia (8-4) is in the better position, leading the NFC East by a comfortable margin. The Chargers still have Justin Herbert's status in doubt, as he injured his left hand. Otherwise, both teams will be at full strength. Motivation is not lacking on either side. It will be a matchup between the pragmatism of the Eagles, a team that knows how to get the best result in every situation, and the greater creativity of Herbert's offense. My prediction is for the Eagles to win, especially since I don't think Herbert will be 100% today.

Monza is the favorite and will ultimately win. I have little doubt about that. Bianco's team is too strong and also in much better shape, but we're unlikely to see many goals because Sudtirol will sit deep and close down the defense, leaving very little space for their opponents. With this game plan, they may avoid conceding many goals, but they certainly won't score many, given that Monza has the best defense in the league. So I back under 2.5.

Sudtirol will be unlikely to put a spoke in the wheels of the league leaders; they haven't won in nine games (four defeats and five draws), and I believe they will continue their negative streak today.

The Broncos (10-2), boasting the league's most aggressive defense and a strong offense, are dominating the West Division and aiming for the top seed in the AFC. The Raiders are struggling, especially due to a weak offensive line that offers little protection to Geno Smith, who, under constant pressure, is inaccurate and prone to frequent interceptions (14 so far for a 3.7% pass rate). The Bengals, with the return of Joe Burrow, have a two-point lead over the Steelers-Ravens, a difficult but not impossible pairing. First, however, they must win in Buffalo, a far-from-simple mission, considering that the Bills also need a win to secure at least a wild-card spot. Buffalo's last four games, however, have been inconsistent, and on defense they must contend with the significant absences of Joey Bosa and Terrell Bernard. Cincinnati presents itself with a full-strength offense and, with Burrow in good form, can deploy the trio of Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Andrei Iosivas. The Jaguars (8-4) are in great shape after four wins in their last five games, but the Colts (8-4), despite two narrow losses to the Chiefs and the Texans, cannot be considered in crisis either. It's a very uncertain matchup between two offenses that distribute their plays fairly evenly between running and passing. Jacksonville has a good runner in Travis Etienne for the ground game, but in the aerial game, although very good, he is prone to interceptions (2.8%) and sacks (7.5%), which are a bit too high.
