Sweden is a really up-and-down team, but they finally qualified for the World Cup despite winning zero games in the World Cup qualifiers. They did qualify via the Nations League second-chance route. I'm surprised they managed it. Here they should be favorites against Tunisia. The Tunisian team is good as well, but Sweden should be the better team as I see it. Tunisia had a great World Cup last time but maybe aren't good enough now.

What odds here! I just can't get rid of these way-too-high odds ??" 3.00 for over the line. Of course I must try it. I see Ecuador as a great team, but often only Valencia scores. Ivory Coast is full speed, runs a lot, and has great quality in their players, coming from a strong 2-1 win vs. France. Caicedo is also impressive in the Ecuador team. I expect many goals, as the pre-World Cup games have shown from both sides.

Ivory Coast is always up and down, but this South American team, Ecuador, is really strong overall and almost never lost in the South American World Cup qualifiers. I say they are much stronger than Ivory Coast, but anyway this is the World Cup and a draw is closer than many think. So I secure here by AH -0.25 a bit.

The never-tired legend in Ecuador, Enner Valencia. I just think he will keep scoring goals as always. Such a strong offensive player, and even if Ivory Coast is a decent team, Valencia always scores goals. Odds of 3.50 are great in my opinion. This is the number one goalscorer in Ecuador.

Full speed, many chances. This bet for corners feels like a great pick. At least 10 corners during this game feels correct. What can we expect here? I would say full-speed Japan running and creating a lot of corners, meanwhile the Netherlands try to control the game but also win many corners, which can lead to goals since they are better in the air and stronger. Anyway, over 9.5 corners is a great bet.

Great line here for a great bet. Germany players may not get any unnecessary cards if they do not underestimate some counterattacks and need to pull down players. One of the surprising teams that I bet can go further than many expect. Actually, this new generation is much stronger than we think. I fully trust Turkey to win this battle. Maybe by more than a one-goal difference, but the odds for a Turkey win are good enough.

Odds are good here. I expect many goals, even if Australia sometimes plays very defensively. Turkey can run, and this new generation of players is really strong right now. Coming into this World Cup they have scored in almost every game over the last 2??"3 years, excluding the 0??"6 loss to Spain, which was some strange game. Otherwise, yes: Turkey is the better team at scoring goals. Australia has good headers and strong players as well and can manage to score a goal.

Anyhow, whatsoever, I go for both teams to score here. I see Haiti can counterattack in some games and score goals, as they did just before the World Cup games: 4-0 against New Zealand and 1-2 loss to Peru. Scotland conceded goals against Curaçao and so on, so I doubt they can keep a clean sheet here, even with strong headers. Haiti did score four against New Zealand; that is my argument.

Real fighters here, and Haiti has the speed. That is a good combination for many cards again, depending a little on the ref as well. But here, 4??"5 cards for the pre-World Cup games for the teams, so over 3.5 cards is a good line and a great bet, as I see it.

I go totally for Switzerland as favorites here. They should just win against a really weak and unknown-to-me team, Qatar. Switzerland is anyway a much stronger team and often qualifies for the next round. Let's see: they are in an OK group, but this is their first game against Qatar. I expect them to win easily with at least a 2??"3 goal difference. Pregames world cup Swizterland last years only lost 1 game to 3-4 to Germany in a friendly otherwise great team and effort.

USA is too big a favorite here. They can still score goals, but to win and meet all the expectations at home as hosts will be very tricky and nervous for them. Paraguay is still a great team even if ranked lower in the world. They came from South America pre-qualifying for the World Cup, lost only four games and conceded only 10 goals in 18 games back then ??" impressive.
