Cut A Dash is nicely related. Moreover, it made an excellent improvement in its successful debut, overcoming initial difficulties. More can be expected. Too many enemies suggests an each-way bet.
02:00 Iran v New Zealand

Iran

Being Belgium and Egypt also in this group, this match is for a chance to pass the stage by accessing third place. Both will put everything on the field today. Under normal circumstances, Iran (ranked 19th by FIFA) will defeat New Zealand (ranked 91st) due to its experience and ability.

23:00 Saudi Arabia v Uruguay

Uruguay

The greatest problem Uruguay has in this match, and in the tournament, is the coach Marcelo Bielsa. On the other hand, the Saudi coach took the job two months ago after the previous one was sacked. In all other respects, Uruguay is far more talented and experienced, with many players at European first league clubs. Uruguay must only stay focused, since the Saudi Arabian team have spoiled the party for bigger teams before, like Argentina in Qatar 2022.

20:00 Belgium v Egypt

Belgium

This match will certainly define first place in the group and will not be easy for either team. Egypt relies on a strong defensive scheme (no goals conceded during qualifying) and M. Salah. Belgium has a very strong attack (29 goals in 8 games) with De Bruyne as its main cannon. I estimate that the Red Devils have more than a 50% chance to prevail.

Second in FIFA's ranking, the current European champion will have no trouble beating Cape Verde (ranked 67th). It is the first time the latter enters a World Cup. International experience comes from some individuals playing in Europe and the USA. No doubts.

Spain is the current European champion. Its team has young, quality players like Yamal and Williams. It is likely to dominate from the first minutes, winning without Cape Verde players entering the Spanish part of the field.

Sweden's path to this tournament was tortuous, but in the end Sweden proved dangerous against Ukraine and Poland. Tunisia was the inverse case, but it remains 41th in the ranking against the 28th place of today's opponents. Hot climate will favor Tunisia, but its physical condition has not been tested against the great European teams. This match is crucial for a chance to progress to the next stage, and their experience will give Sweden an edge.

Ranked 23rd vs the 27th of IC, Ecuador seems to have a slightly better chance to win this game, in which the direct 2nd place is obviously contested. IC arrives with momentum after beating France a week ago. So I think they will concur in a draw (1-1?), delaying the decision of being runner-up of Group E to how each handles Germany and the amount of goals to Curacao.

23:00 Brazil v Morocco

Draw

Brazil and Morocco are 6th and 7th in the current FIFA rankings. Their H2H in 2023 goes to the Africans by 2??"1. Morocco showed large progress at WC2022. Their defense is solid, and their rapid counterattacks hurt. Brazil has the abilities of several major individuals, but they are slow to be consistent as a team.

03:00 South Korea v Czechia

South Korea

South Korea and Czechia are similarly ranked by FIFA, 25th/24th. South Korea qualified unbeaten, scoring 40 goals in 16 games, and contains some stars of European teams. Czechia's path to Mexico has been difficult, with a structured Central European style that the fast counterattacks of Korea will hurt.

Chalk Mountain is bidding for a hat-trick at this distance after its win in September and its subsequent winning return three weeks ago, beating I Am Working On It. The selection is stepping up in class and there are several good opponents, so an each-way bet would be wise and offers value. It may also be a full success.
