It is a pity that this race has been reduced to 7 runners, as I think this one is great each-way value. This course may suit the 4-year-old who was staying, closing on the winner last time out in France. Bryony Frost returns to these shores at a course that she has fond memories of. Although this one needs to improve on known form, the first-time visor may well do that.

Although the trainer has stated his team are about 2 weeks behind in their preparations, this one runs well when fresh. Some of the stable's other runners have won first time up. She won on her stable debut last term on soft and followed that up by winning a listed event easily on heavy ground. The first time up and ground could be the time to catch her right, and the stable are still running a 17% strike rate.

On hurdle form, he has the class to take this, and if he can convert that to fences, he will be tough to beat. He has form on soft ground over course and distance, winning last year's Triumph Hurdle Trial at this meeting. His form over course and distance is two wins and two places from 4 runs. The stable is in decent nick with 2 wins and 3 placed efforts from their last 6 runners.
