As a value option to the favourite, it could pay to side with My Highness for the André Fabre stable. Runners from this stable should be noted when the trainer sends one over from France. This one is race-fit from her run this year. She follows the same path as 1024 winner Miss France, who was also beaten in the Prix Imprudence before winning the 1000 Guineas. My Highness has won over an extended 7 furlongs on good ground. Her sire won over this distance on good to firm, and she can follow in his path and run a big race.

Was a classy individual last year, and if race-fit will take all the beating here. Three runner-up spots in Group One juvenile races were finally rewarded with a win in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile on fast ground. The only concern is that the stable's runners in recent years have needed the run. That being said, they have a 26% current strike rate, which augurs well.

On his best hurdle form, he has an excellent chance of playing a hand in this. He keeps coming down the handicap, and this sort of trip could well bring improvement out in him. A classy hurdler with a Grade 2 win over Stay Away Faye, then a runner-up spot behind Apples Away were excellent form. Although he has not pulled up any trees chasing, the fact he is up in trip, gets a decent-sized field, is down 9 lb from the start of his career, and the stable is in good form means he can outrun his odds.

A consistent sort who looks as if he is made for this kind of marathon trip, and he can reach the frame for a stable who do well in this race. He ran a good race to finish third last time out behind Grangeclare West and Gerry Colombe, and is 21 lb better off with those two in a handicap, with some of these behind.

Almost a standing dish around here. With 2 wins and 2 second-place efforts, Strong Leader looks solid each-way material in an open-looking renewal. He won this two years ago and was then second last year. Although he disappointed on his last run at Cheltenham, that can be ignored as he never runs well there and much prefers a flat track. Stable in good form and he can run well.
