Hamadhan ran well on his final start for Johnny Murtagh at Dundalk when third to Edward Hamilton over this trip. The third has franked the form and has not been seen for 230 days, which is the only negative for me, and the odds negate that. Stable switch to Jennie Candish, who has been among the winners in the last fortnight. When third on the last run the trip was the same as today, as was the good ground. 4PL

Al Qareem could well be up to winning another Group 3 race this season after winning a Listed race recently and winning two last season at York and Ascot. He will have the fitness edge over the three above him in the market and tends to back up his races after a win. It only takes one of the top three to disappoint for Al Qareem to take advantage of and at least get a place. Also will handle the course, being a course-and-distance winner. EW 3PL

Bells Of Ufford ran a solid race last time at Chepstow in the same grade race as today, C5. She was never going to win, but Inionn Tiogair, who did win that race, has backed it up with another win at the course.
