Ventura Highway is an interesting one here on his debut after a quiet run in France. The upside is that his form is better than that run suggested. He has multiple solid hurdle efforts and a win in France, and he’s effective at this distance. If he adapts quickly, he can outrun his price here.

Babychino showed me more to like when third, finishing well after being outpaced, so there’s a bit of form there for me to consider. She’s already handled a hood and similar ground well, and the fact she’s effective at 2m says to me that this isn’t beyond her if she settles better. Brendan Powell is a plus, and she does have some class/place experience. She’s still a work in progress, but the best bits are that she’s improving, can stay on, and now has a recent run to build from. On that basis, she’s my each-way play here.
