4th April 2026
16:12 4:12 Musselburgh

The Kalonji Man

Daily Racing

40 EW

THE KALJONI MAN was not unsupported on debut in last week's Brocklesbury. He only beat one horse home. He fluffed the start and was as green as anything. That was a deeper race than this, and if the reports from the stable are right, better was expected. He put that experience to good use today against a field lacking any experience.
16:45 4:45 Musselburgh

Zarzyni

Daily Racing

39 EW

Zarzyni is a hostage to fortune with his running style, but he bids to follow up last year's win in this race when 7/2 favourite. He's actually two pounds lower than last year. Very good claimer booked in William Pyle, who claims three. The run in February??"first in four months??"should have put him spot on for this. It looked a sighter for this race (never put into the contest). At 14/1 he's ten points bigger than I envisaged.
17:15 Chelsea v Port Vale

Port Vale 3.25

Asian Hcap

50 WIN

For all their poor form currently, Chelsea should win this. But giving up 3.5 goals is a big ask, I feel. I expect Vale to set up on the counterattack. I can see them edging this on the AH.
20:00 Southampton v Arsenal

Southampton 1.50

Asian Hcap

50 WIN

The Saints are one of the in-form sides in the top two divisions recently, unbeaten in their last 14. They meet an Arsenal side who are having a wobble in the Premier League. Arsenal's recent away form in all competitions has been poor. They were abysmal in the League Cup final. They have a number of injuries and the distraction of a Champions League quarter-final midweek. The Saints should win, but they struggled against Mansfield in the previous round ??" a two-goal start in places. Taking the Saints win on the Asian Handicap in 90 minutes.

21:00 Deontay Wilder v Derek Chisora

Deontay Wilder

Win Fight

50 WIN

The 50/50 fight is being called. It could well go either way. Wilder has not looked the same since the Fury fights. But he has the power and technical skill to beat Chisora. I envisaged the market would be a lot closer in terms of price. At 6/4, the value I feel lies with the American.
23:00 Dione Barbosa v Melissa Gatto

Melissa Gatto

14:00 Livingston v Hearts

Hearts

50 WIN

As we get to the business end, the Jam Tarts are still leading the table. Though if they are to win, they need to keep 11 players on the pitch. Disciplinary record is poor. That said, they meet Livingston, a side rock bottom, and have not won a game since August of last year. It won't be pretty, but they can edge this by the odd goal. They come into this in good form ??" three wins from four.
16:30 West Ham v Leeds

West Ham 0.00

Asian Hcap

50 WIN

I'm on The Hammers at huge odds hoping they progress. They are in decent form of late, losing just 3 times in 13 matches in all competitions. Unbeaten in their last 6 matches at home. Leeds have mostly been inconsistent of late, both home and away, and could well be in for a struggle again.
20:55 Valero Texas Open

Brian Harman

1st Round Leader

25 EW

Defending champion Brian Harman has been underwhelming this year so far. But his game will be suited by the conditions, and he set the clubhouse lead on his way to winning this last year. He comes in here fresh after a 3-week break since finishing 11th in The Players. At 50/1, he could be a spot of value.

Johnny Keefer

1st Round Leader

25 EW

At a price, it might be worth adding Johnny Keefer to your portfolio for this event. This is his local course. He has the ability to score low. His third in Houston last weekend was a welcome return to form.

Jordan Spieth

1st Round Leader

25 EW

Is a course winner, although winless in over three years. There have been hints in recent weeks that he is both fit and mentally in a good place. At 28/1 I cannot resist a 0.5 point each-way in this first-round leader market, with a few big names missing.
22:45 Valero Texas Open

Jordan Spieth

25 EW

This is not the deepest of fields with number oc big names keeping their powder dry for the first major next week. We've put up JORDAN SPIETH before and his game physically and mentally looks to be coming together nicely. He has some decent course form in the Texan Open including a win 3 top 15 finishes in 7 starts. Last 4 tournaments have produced following finishes 12/11/32/11. He's a couple of points bigger on the exchanges and with Bet 365

Ludvig Aberg

40 EW

Several big names are taking a bye week with the first major the following week. Ludvig Aberg has hinted in recent weeks that his game is coming together nicely following injury and illness. I'd be quite surprised if he were not involved come Sunday.

Ryo Hisatsune

25 EW

The accuracy of the man from Japan, Ryo Hisatsune, should suit this course. He's been ticking over in recent weeks and could well do better than last year's tied 5th.

Sudarshan Yellamaraju

25 EW

The young Canadian Sudarshan Yellamaraju has only contested five tournaments. Three tournaments in five weeks produced 17th, 5th, and 6th place finishes. Still rough around the edges, he might well figure high up on the leaderboard come Sunday. He's one I have been told to watch. 45/1, six places up for grabs might ruffle a few feathers.

Ludvig Aberg

Top European

37 EW

For the reasons outlined in the outright pick: if Ludvig Åberg backs up his recent 3rd and 5th finishes following a two-week hiatus, he will be tough to beat.

Tommy Fleetwood

Top European

50 WIN

In such a weak field, several big European names are missing with Augusta next week. This represents a big opportunity for Ryder Cup players Ludvig and Tommy. Tommy's game is well suited to this course. His overall game looks in a good place at present.
6th April 2026
11:00 Durham vs Kent County Championship

Durham

Draw No Bet

219 WIN

Early doors in the new season, and I'm expecting good things from Durham. The weather looks set fair for the four days. Their strength in depth in bowling and batting is superior to Kent, who have a number of injuries and have to start this season with an 8-point deficit. Quite frankly, I think they will struggle big time this season. Durham had a decent pre-season; batters look in great nick.

00:00 England League 1 2025/26

Luton

25 EW

Luton are looking to bounce immediately back to The Championship following relegation last season. With no Wrexham or Birmingham, they look a decent bet. Recruited well pre-season and 7/2 looks a good price. Staking on this market and Promotion market.

Luton

To be Promoted

50 WIN

I envisaged The Hatters to be around 1/2 to gain an automatic return to the Championship and was speechless when I saw odds against a month ago. I expect them to go up as Champions. This price looks a steal. Blues did us a massive turn at 3/1 last term, and Luton look in a similar mold. Off the field, business to enhance the squad looks positive. I really feel they will run away with this league.
15:00 England League 1 2025/26

Niall Ennis

Top Goalscorer

25 EW

Niall Ennis should make hay in this league. He was sent on loan last term, scoring 7 in 19 following a loan move in January from Stoke, and has now signed a permanent contract in the summer. I can see The Tangerines having a decent season with Niall's help.
3rd May 2026
21:00 Miami Grand Prix

George Russell

Win Race

50 WIN

George finished off the podium in Japan but had issues with his car in qualifying and a bug in the software causing a "superclip". This meant GR was driving with one hand tied behind his back before the green light. Toto Wolff said, "We didn't do a great job in George's race," yet, testament to his skill, he finished fourth. SC timing didn't help. Kimi is a huge young talent, but he made a mistake in China and in Japan got away with both. With new engines, his inexperience compared to his fellow drivers is to be expected. Over the season, Russell's quality and experience shine through. If glitches are resolved, expect him to start much shorter come May 3rd.

Oscar Piastri

Win Race

25 EW

With five weeks due to world events between Japan and Miami, we should see a lot of testing that brings teams closer. Mercedes are well ahead of the curve, but there were signs Oscar's garage is closing the gap. Certainly, but for the safety car he may have won in Suzuka. Five weeks out, a lot can happen, but with three places up for grabs and 10/1, I think it looks decent value. There is ample time to get to grips and tweak a few things. I expect teams to finish a lot closer than what we've seen to date.

George Russell - Yes

Podium Finish

50 WIN

George Russell's team will want to get back on track after the mess of Suzuka, where everything that could go wrong certainly did ??" in qualifying and during the race. I fully expect Toto and his team to iron out the super-bug issues. It would be a major shock if he were off the podium. The Mercedes are some way ahead of the grid in terms of car and performance currently. Unless the opposition find a chunk of time during this five-week hiatus, they should be 1 and 2 on the grid in Miami. I can only see this price shortening to around 1.07 if that's the case.
24th May 2026
18:10 England Premier League 2025/26

Liam Delap

Top Goalscorer

25 EW

Isak would be of interest were Liverpool to sign him, but 7/1 is skinny. With the Jota tragedy surely having an impact on Liverpool, United is in transition. Liam Delap at 40/1 could be a bit of value. He joined Chelsea and is an outstanding striker for his age. He will get better service and see more of the ball than he did at Ipswich Town. I can see him having an outstanding season for a young side who are growing in confidence. See him being the main penalty taker to boot. 40/1 is very good value as Haaland is too short as favorite, as is Salah getting 10/1 for a top 4 place.
28th May 2026
20:00 Premier League Darts 2026

Luke Humphries

51 WIN

Quite simply, Littler and Humphries are a class apart from the rest. Be known, purpose: see these two reach the final. That being the case, cannot see The Nuke's odds being far off 8/13 on offer now, and Humphries certainly wouldn't be 5/1.
12th July 2026
12:00 World Cup 2026

France

100 WIN

France not atheir best but still reached the final of 2022 event, I can only see this price getting shorter they have won and been runners up in the last 2 events and Mpappe if he avoids injury looks a future superstar on the world stage.
9th September 2026
11:00 County Championship Division 2 2026

Durham

Outright Winner

75 EW

Durham have strength in depth in their squad. I fully expect them to take this league by the scruff of its neck and bounce straight back up at the first time of asking following relegation last season. They have the depth to cope with injuries in a long season, unlike a few of these teams. I envisaged them being considerably shorter.
