Shaped better than the bare result, having trouble in running. Unlikely to have won but likely would have finished 2nd with a clear run. Likely to be better on his 2nd run, and he was noticeably weak in the market on debut, so wasn't expected.

Worth an each-way bet for 3 places on the first run in 10 months. Dropped down to 5f here, has plenty of speed and if fit enough should go close if trying to force the pace. Couldn't quite manage it on the penultimate start over 6f, but may last out over 5f.
