After years of turmoil Bolton finally have set of owners with a costed plan and it showed last season when they were able to concentrate solely on what they were about on the pitch and comfortably made the play offs. Everything is now in place and they should return to the Championship this time.

The three relegated clubs have strong squads and parachute funds but appear to be set on taking chances with regards to coaching personel whilst some of the other fancied clubs, notably Norwich and West Brom have solid foundations but increasing financial pressures to contend with so a chance is take on Swansea who finished last season in excellent form and have a balanced squad which contains a lot of experience and a settled backroom team all supported by a set of contented fans and not many of 24 clubs can say that.

Barrow finished last season in, on the face it, a creditable 9th place. But a closer look reveals a negative goal difference and no fewer than 20 defeats (only one fewer than relegated Hartlepool). Add to that the fact that the club is currently at war with it's own fan base over what it describes as unacceptable criticism on social media and things are not as rosy as it would seem at first glance for the Bluebirds who were beaten four times on the bounce at the end of last season and could struggle to retain their EFL status this time.

Ten Haag has his feet under the table now and United are reaping the benefits of his talent. Several players are finally begining to fulfil their undoubted potential and the whole thing looks cohesive and tactically sound. With Liverpool and Chelsea in something of a transitional period and Arsenal and Newcastle yet to convince they can stay the distance the title race looks likely to be an all Manchester affair and at 10/1 United look decent each way value this time.
