The only course and distance winner in the field, winning here in April 2024 off a mark of 73. Races off 78 today but has won over the extended mile at Nottingham off a mark of 80 in June 2024 and will sharpen up following a recent run at Redcar on the back of a 177 day break.

A beaten favourite over Wolverhampton's extended mile 12 days ago and denied an impressive hat-trick having won the previous 2 races here over a mile. Yet to win in 7 attempts over course and distance but placed in 4 of those and now could be the time to break that duck dropping in trip.

Often slow away as was the case at Chelmsford 13 days ago when 12th of 15 but that was his first time there and its possible the track didn’t suit. He is a former course and distance winner off an official mark of 80 back in February 2023 and placed twice off higher marks than today. Expect him to be at the back throughout and running on late. Could go close off this mark granted a clear passage and looks each way appeal.
