Lady Iris

Daily Racing

50 WIN

There are questions to be asked if the market leaders with favourite Gold Cast having doubts about his well being having been pulled up on stable debut and Burning Embers lacks experience with just one start and makes hurdling debut then there is Shutfrontdoor trained by Gary & Josh Moore and historically Gary Moore is 2/41 wins in class 4 novice hurdles at Kempton which doesn't bode well - a chance is taken with the twice raced Chris Gordon trained Lady Iris a 5yo mare who makes second start for the stable having finished a distant second to the extremely useful Mondo Man on hurdles debut and is entitled to come on for that run and is likely to figure in a race full of horses with question marks over their credentials.

A Perfect Day

Daily Racing

25 EW

A Perfect Day is a 6yo gelding trained by Ben Clarke and ridden by Ben Jones was sent off a string favourite at Chepstow last time out in a class 2 handicap hurdle given his excellent run in previous start behind two very consistent sorts Champagne Chic (won next time out) and Turndlightsdownlow and encountered all sorts of trouble with the jockey losing his irons and making a shuddering mistake at the second last when challenging and went straight into the notebook - put in a RFC with West To The Bridge.

West To The Bridge

Daily Racing

50 WINNAP

West To The Bridge is a 13yo gelding trained by Dan Skelton is not getting any younger but has been a great servant winning 11/64 races and unlike most in this contest he comes here in good form and one of few who has been campaigning over todays trip with many up and down in distance from their last run - West To The Bridge has finished 2-1 in his last two starts winning at Chepstow by a head from Grenadier Jed who has finished a respectable third behind the extremely progressive Hold The Serve who has won his last three starts and the ever consistent French Emperor 140 - that was a good effort by West To The Bridge to make all at Chepstow and is only up 3lb - trip versatile and a 10 time winner on today's soft ground and represents a yard who are 10/27 wins 15/27 places in class 3 handicap hurdles at Uttoxeter and his West To The Bridge is a big player despite being 14-1.

Royal Infantry

Daily Racing

50 WINNB

Another selection here for the Dan Skelton yard with their 7yo gelding Royal Infantry ridden by Tristan Durrell - he's remarkably consistent and finished 2/9 over CD on last start behind the progressive Hold The Serve who has won three consecutive races - Royal Infantry posted a career high RPR of 140 and remains unexposed at this intermediary trip which should enhance his chance of a deserved success - he's likely to be seen traveling well within himself in and amongst the leaders and today's trip and ground should help him see out today's trip as he often flatters to deceive - it could be a good day for Dan Skelton and his team.

Turndlightsdownlow

Daily Racing

25 EW

Turndlightsdownlow is a 6yo gelding trained by Martin Keighley and ridden by Jonathan Burke is a duel CD winner who comes here in great heart having finished 2/10 (12l ahead of the third) in a class 3 handicap at Wincanton laters posting a career high RPR of 126 behind Champaign Chic who won a class 2 at Haydock on next start off a 6lb higher mark to frank the form - todays drop back in trip on good ground back at Kemptonis right up his street and will suit this prominent racing type - put in a RFC with Royal Infantry.

Bodhisattva

Daily Racing

25 EW

Bodhisattva is a 9yo gelding is an Irish raider trained by John McConnell and ridden by Alex Harvey is the outsider of the field and runs here off a career low handicap mark of 114 finished 7/16 in this race last year where he was as short as 16-1 off a mark of 124 - 10lb lower today and a reproduction of his career best RPR of 127 when finishing 2/15 in the Edinburgh National Chase in February 25 over 31.5f behind Magna Sam with Surrey Quest and two time Eider Chase winner Anglers Crag just behind - UR in the Eider Chase on next start at 10-1 over 32f again off 124 - todays mark of 114 could be a springboard to some form at a very appealing 100-1.

Rock My Way

Daily Racing

50 WIN

Rock My Way is a 8yo gelding trained by Joe Tizzard is 2/13 wins over the bigger obstacles and 3/20 wins in his career heads the weights off a mark of 138 and after a very promising start to his career opened on an official rating of 138 so whilst he's more exposed than most he's held his form very well and his career best effort was a 11l rout of 11 runners in a class 2 handicap chase over 29f at Ascot on second start after wind surgery posting a RPR of 147 - he's run well in competitive staying handicaps finishing 5/23 in the Scottish Grand National over 4m and then finished 2/18 behind Hauti Couleurs over over 3m 6f at Cheltenham beaten just 4.5l despite the fact he never put in the best round of jumping - that run come in todays tongue tie and blinkers combo - not one to rule out with the only negative being today soft ground.
