Mastastroque is a 4-year-old gelding trained by J A Stack. He is 0-4 wins and hasn't shown a great deal yet. He heads the weights in this weak-looking 0-60 handicap. Stepped up in trip to 10.5f, which should suit being out of the 121 rated Derby winner Masar. J A Stack also puts on first-time cheekpieces, and J A Stack has 26/75 places and 8/75 wins when putting on first-time cheekpieces, so they seem to bring about some improvement. Andrew Slattery rides, which is always a positive, with 16/65 wins and 37/65 placed if J A Stack's charge is 15-2 or less. Big each-way shout.
