10:00 Melbourne Storm v Brisbane Broncos

Melbourne Storm

To Win

50 WIN

Melbourne Storm have won three of the last four head to head meetings and I am backing they will win this NRL Final. They looked good in beating Cronulla Sharks in the semi finals and I am going for Melbourne to just edge Brisbane in a thrilling final.

Melbourne Storm -2.50

Handicap (2-way)

50 WIN

Melbourne Storm beat Cronulla Sharks 22-14 in the semi finals and I am backing this final showdown with Brisbane Broncos will be even closer. Three of the four meetings head to head since the start of last year were Melbourne wins and I am going for the Storm to be just too good winning this by three or four points to cover the handicap.

Under 40.50

Total Points

50 WIN

Melbourne Storm beat Cronulla Sharks 22-14 in their semi-final, and the Brisbane Broncos got the better of the Penrith Panthers 16-14. Both semi-finals had 36 points or under, and I am backing this NRL final will have fewer points than those given the occasion.
13:00 Singapore Grand Prix

Carlos Sainz

Win Race

25 EW

The Spaniard was third two weeks ago at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, and that will have been a real confidence boost for Williams, getting a first podium. In 2023, Carlos Sainz won the Singapore Grand Prix driving for Ferrari, and I am backing he can build on the Azerbaijan race and finish on the podium again.

Lando Norris

Win Race

50 WIN

The Englishman has won some big races this year and after opening the season off with a win in Australia he has picked up race wins in Monaco and Britain. Twelve months ago he won the Singapore Grand Prix and I am backing Norris will go back to back at Marina Bay.

Lando Norris

Win Race

50 WIN

The British driver has won five Grand Prix races this season, and he is chasing down Oscar Piastri for the Drivers' Championship. Twelve months ago, he won the Singapore Grand Prix, and I am backing Lando Norris to take the chequered flag once again this weekend for victory in Singapore.

Carlos Sainz - Yes

Podium Finish

50 WIN

The Spaniard won the Singapore Grand Prix two years ago, and he is a multiple race winner from his Ferrari days. Third two weeks ago in Azerbaijan, and I am backing Carlos Sainz to finish on the podium for a second straight race.

Carlos Sainz - Yes

Points Finish

50 WIN

The Spaniard won the Singapore Grand Prix a couple of years back, and after such a good drive two weeks ago at Azerbaijan when finishing third, I am backing Carlos Sainz to finish amongst the points in Singapore this weekend.

Carlos Sainz - Yes

Top 6 Finish

50 WIN

The Spaniard was seventh here in Singapore last year, but he has won this Grand Prix in 2023. I am backing Carlos Sainz to go well here again. Third last time out in Azerbaijan, and I am going for Sainz to feature in the top six for Williams.
14:00 Aston Villa v Burnley

Aston Villa

50 WIN

Aston Villa got a much-needed win last weekend against Fulham, and with Ollie Watkins amongst the goals, I am backing another home win for Villa. Four defeats in five for Burnley, I can see them being under pressure this afternoon, and the home win is the bet.
14:00 Everton v Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace

50 WIN

Some might say Everton were lucky to get a point on Monday night at home to West Ham. I am backing Crystal Palace to be the first away side to win at the Hill Dickinson. The Londoners beat Liverpool last weekend and won at West Ham the game before. I am backing The Eagles to soar on Merseyside.
14:00 Newcastle v Nottm Forest

Newcastle

50 WIN

Newcastle United should have really got results at home to Liverpool and Arsenal. I am backing they will want to put that right this afternoon. Four defeats and three losses in seven for Forest, and after losing last weekend to Sunderland, I am backing The Toon to put the pressure on Bog Ange, who hasn’t turned Forest around at all. I am going for a home win.
14:00 Wolverhampton v Brighton

Brighton

50 WIN

In their last four league games, Brighton have drawn 2-2 away to Spurs and beaten both Manchester City and Chelsea. Albion have won two of the last three head-to-head meetings, and I am backing, after a win last season at Molineux, that they can beat struggling Wolves this afternoon.
16:30 Brentford v Man City

Man City

50 WIN

City were unlucky not to win at Arsenal a few weeks back, and they beat Burnley 5-1 at home last weekend. Brentford have only beaten City at home once since 1937, and with Haaland firing and Foden back pulling the strings, I am backing this will be an away win for Manchester City and Pep.
17:30 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship

Brooks Koepka

25 EW

The American was fourth two weeks ago, and I am backing he will have a good four days up in Scotland at the Alfred Dunhill Links. Tied 10th twelve months ago here brought up four straight top ten finishes in this tournament, and I am siding with Brooks Koepka going close at the Home Of Golf.

Daniel Brown

25 EW

8th at the British Masters and 9th at the Irish Open, the Englishman has the game for the links as we saw a few years back at The Open Championship. He won the BMW International Open earlier this year, and I am backing Daniel Brown to challenge this week at the Alfred Dunhill Links.

Marcus Armitage

25 EW

The Englishman was runner-up two years ago at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, and I am backing he could be inspired by the English representation at last week's Ryder Cup. 5th and 12th in two of his last three starts, Armitage is finding some form, and I am backing him this week in Scotland.

Tom McKibbin

25 EW

The Northern Irishman was 14th on debut two years ago at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, and he heads to The Old Course in decent form of late. 11th and 20th at the Irish Open and BMW PGA. I am backing Tom McKibbin to have a good week on the Links in Scotland.
22:30 Sanderson Farms Championship

Ben Kohles

25 EW

The American was 16th last year in the Sanderson Farms Championship, and he had three rounds of 67 at the Country Club of Jackson. He was 20th at the 3M Open and 26th at the Procore Championship. I am backing Ben Kohles to have a really big week at the Sanderson Farms.

David Skinns

25 EW

The Englishman opened with a 60 in round one twelve months ago, and I am backing he can return to the Country Club of Jackson and make plenty more birdies. 4th at the Isco Championship, 8th at the Barracuda Championship, I am backing David Skinns will have a strong week at the Sanderson Farms Championship.

Erik van Rooyen

25 EW

The South African was 16th in his only start at the Sanderson Farms Championship. After a decent showing at the BMW PGA to post a top 25 finish at Wentworth, I am backing he can feature this week on the PGA Tour. Erik Van Rooyen is a two-time winner on tour, and in this strength of field, he is worth backing to challenge come Sunday evening at the Sanderson Farms.

Mac Meissner

25 EW

Rounds of 66 and 67 here twelve months ago, and I am backing the American can put four good rounds together this week. He was runner-up at the Wyndham Championship at the back end of last season, and I can see Meissner having a really good run at the Sanderson Farms Championship.
6th October 2025
18:00 Rob Cross vs Wessel Nijman

Wessel Nijman

Win Match 2-way

50 WIN

The Dutchman has won all three previous head-to-head meetings with Rob Cross, and I am backing he beats Voltage on the opening night. Cross has not done well in the Grand Prix with just the one previous quarter-final, and I see Nijman turning over the major winner over the best of three sets.
18:30 Martin Schindler vs Krzysztof Ratajski

Krzysztof Ratajski

Win Match 2-way

50 WIN

The Pole has been improving on the circuit, and I am backing he can have a good run in a tournament like the World Grand Prix. He won the only meeting last year with Schindler, and he leads the head-to-head meetings 5-2. I am backing Krzysztof Ratajski to beat the German on the opening night.
19:00 Chris Dobey vs Cameron Menzies

Chris Dobey

Win Match 2-way

50 WIN

Hollywood beat Cameron Menzies twice last month, once on the European Tour and the other in the World Series Finals. The Englishman leads the head-to-head 8-1 against Menzies, and I am backing Dobey to beat the Scot tonight on day one of the World Grand Prix.
19:30 James Wade vs Joe Cullen

James Wade

Win Match 2-way

50 WIN

The Machine has found some of his best form over the last few months with a run to the World Matchplay final and some good showings on the European Tour, reaching a final and semi-final. He has beaten Joe Cullen twice since May, including a 10-3 hammering at Blackpool, and I am backing Wade to take care of business on the opening night against The Rockstar.
20:00 Danny Noppert vs Jermaine Wattimena

Jermaine Wattimena

Win Match 2-way

50 WIN

This battle of the Dutch darters will be a close game on the opening night in Leicester. With it being double in, double out, I am backing the favorite, Jermaine Wattimena. The last three head-to-heads have all gone his way, and I am going for him to beat Noppert to advance.
12th October 2025
18:00 World Grand Prix 2025

Gerwyn Price

25 EW

The Welshman was a beaten finalist in 2023, losing to Luke Humphries, and he reached the semi-final the year before. He won the title in 2020 and was again a finalist in 2021. I am backing, with the year Price is having, that The Iceman can reach another final at the World Grand Prix.

Luke Humphries

50 WIN

The world number one has reached the last two finals of the World Grand Prix and twelve months ago he was beaten by Mike De Decker. Cool Hand won on the European Tour last month and I am backing he will have another good run in the double in double out format, I am going for Humphries to win another major tv title.
13th October 2025
18:00 Super League XXX

Wigan

Grand Final Winner

50 WIN

The Wigan Warriors have won the Super League the last two years, and they now have seven championships to their name. They have looked like the dominant team the last couple of seasons and won the Challenge Cup both years too. I am backing Wigan to make it a hat trick, three Super League titles in a row this year.
3rd January 2026
20:00 PDC World Championship 2026

Luke Littler

50 WIN

The Nuke won his maiden PDC World Championship last year at the Ally Pally, and he has reached the last two world finals. At the time of writing, he has won the UK Open already in 2025. I am backing the darting sensation that is Luke Littler. He will arrive at this year's World Championship as the man everyone has to beat, and I see him picking up his second world crown.

Michael van Gerwen

25 EW

The Green Machine is a three-time world champion, and last year he reached the final of the World Championship. MVG hasn’t had the best of years to date, and I am backing there will be a real focus about the Dutchman. He can go all the way to another world final to challenge for a fourth world title.
24th May 2026
00:00 England Premier League 2025/26

Wolverhampton

To be Relegated

50 WIN

Wolves were 16th last season and only two places above the drop zone. Cunha has left for Manchester United, and I am backing Wanderers might struggle for goals this season. They had a run of six wins in a row around April time that saved them last year. I don’t see that happening this season, and it ends up in relegation for Wolves.
18:10 England Premier League 2025/26

Bruno Fernandes

Top Goalscorer

25 EW

Manchester United have added Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha to their ranks. With the likes of Rashford and Garnacho now departed, I am backing a more attacking United this season. The captain can really make an impact driving forward. Three times in the last five seasons, he has hit double figures in the league. With the Portuguese playmaker on free kicks and penalties, I can see him finishing with over 17 goals to be one of the top four scorers this season.

Mohamed Salah

Top Goalscorer

50 WIN

The Egyptian King scored 29 goals last season to finish Top Goalscorer in the Premier League. With the addition of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong, I am backing Mo Salah to have another big season for The Reds with goals and assists. Since 2017, the winger has scored eighteen plus goals each season and finished with the Golden Boot several times. I am backing Salah to be top scorer again this campaign.
30th May 2026
20:00 UEFA Champions League 2025/26

Bayern Munich

50 WIN

The Germans last won the Champions League in 2020 and have won it twice in the last twelve seasons, so they are due. Jonathan Tah has arrived from Leverkusen and Luis Diaz from Liverpool. The front three of Olise, Diaz, and Kane with a strong midfielder with experience, I am backing Bayern Munich to win another European Cup.
