After the first session this looks like being a cracking semi final with both players in very good form. I think the rankings won't count at all here because Gilbert has been playing well above his ranking the whole tournament and as we saw this afternoon he is really up for the challenge at time looking the better player. But as I have gone with Wilson I need to add this handicap too.

Wilson is the higher ranked player by quite a bit and has looked in superb form this week with some very good wins. Gilbert too has looked well better than his rankings suggest but Wilson for me here.

It will be interesting to see how Bingham responds in this semi final as he is the favourite which is new to him this last two weeks, Jones has looked really good so it’s likely to be close butmgoing with Bingham.

Everton have hit form at the right time and look like they are now safe barring miracles and the hosts are in big trouble after an entertaining season but they appear to have run out of steam and as am going with another Everton win.
