At twelve years, Ontheropes has been a great servant to the Mullins yard. Not a frequent winner, but he's appeared in some good races along the way. He's now dropped massively in the handicap, and his trainer boasts an excellent record around here: 25% (3/12). What a surprise it would be if the veteran chooses to put his best foot forward.

St Dennis's Well was sixth in a Listed Chase at Fairyhouse, and that form has stood up. His chase rating has been preserved and makes appeal, with Jack Kennedy booked in the saddle for last year's winning trainer.

Tumuch didn't show much recently. He'll be tried over a further distance today with a jockey change. The addition of first-time cheekpieces should help focus him on racing. Competitive-looking race, but he has experience.
