Drew McIntyre leads the betting odds to beat CM Punk in one of the big fights at SummerSlam

Saturday night sees the 37th annual SummerSlam take place with Cleveland, Ohio the host city for the event and betting sites are now offering odds on the main card for a massive night of wrestling.

CM Punk faces Drew McIntyre in one of the most anticipated fights of the night with Punk returning after suffering an injury all the way back at Royal Rumble in January.

Punk's build-up since his return to the WWE saw him compete at various events, but this weekend's match at SummerSlam will be his first televised one-on-one match for the company since he left all the way back in 2014.

McIntyre is looking to upset the crowd favourite on the night though, with Paddy Power actually putting him above Punk in the odds albeit in a small way with the difference in probability given only around 5%.

Seth Rollins has been in storylines with both Punk and McIntyre and he will be special guest referee for the bout which will only end with some sort of controversy with him involved.

Drew McIntyre v CM Punk WinnerOddsProbability
Drew McIntyre8/1157.9%
CM Punk10/1152.4%
What the expert says...
Bookies find it hard to split Drew McIntyre and CM Punk in the betting odds ahead of their SummerSlam singles match this weekend, with Seth Rollins surely expected to tamper with the result in some way as he stars as the special guest referee for the bout!

Cody Rhodes is the heavy favourite to beat Solo Sikoa in the main event of the evening

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is the clear favourite to retain his belt this weekend in what is expected to be the main event of the evening against Solo Sikoa.

Wrapping up such a big event will likely see a lot of action during the bout but the betting odds say that it'll be a clear victory for Rhodes in the bout.

Plenty of speculation has unsurprisingly been spoken about ahead of such a big event with rumours of The Rock and Roman Reigns both returning in some form at the event.

We'll see if that happens though but Rhodes has a 90% chance of beating Sikoa in the matchup according to those latest odds offered by Paddy Power.

Cody Rhodes v Solo Sikoa WinnerOddsProbability
Cody Rhodes1/1090.9%
Solo Sikoa9/218.2%
