Kurt Angle is the early favourite to be the man who inducts John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame

With John Cena's WWE career set to come to an end in 2025, talk has now begun on when he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with it surely a case of when not if.

Cena is seen by many as the greatest wrestler of all time and it'll be a big name who inducts him into the WWE Hall of Fame when it happens with Kurt Angle the current favourite in the market.

Angle faced Cena all the way back in June 2002 for Cena's debut in the WWE after he accepted an open challenge from Angle on SmackDown.

Fast forward 22 years later and it may well be that it's a full circle story on Cena's career with the man who faced him first being the man who inducts him into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Betting Sites currently say there's a 28% chance that Angle inducts Cena with Randy Orton and Triple H following behind him in the betting odds.

What the expert says...
Kurt Angle leads the betting market to be the man who inducts John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame, 22 years on from when he fought Cena in his debut match on WWE television. The pair faced off against each other on Smackdown back in June 2002 and it could well be a full circle event if Angle was to induct Cena.

Randy Orton sits at evens to be Cena's final Wrestlemania opponent at next year's event

Cena's rivalry with Randy Orton has been one of his biggest in his career so it could make perfect sense that it's him who inducts him into the Hall of Fame.

Orton is actually the betting favourite to be John Cena's Wrestlemania 41 opponent with the headline event in wrestling set to be Cena's last in the WWE.

Cena's final WrestleMania match in his 23-year career will likely be a big one and facing long-time rival Orton in the main event could well be the biggest storyline for him.
