Bookmakers keep Eddie Nketiah as the clear favourite to be mystery rapper DIDE

Betting is still available on who the mystery rapper DIDE is with his latest song Derby Day released just last month and bookmakers continue to offer a full betting market.

Earlier this year saw DIDE come from nowhere to release his debut single "Thrill" with the video coming with a story that he was a Premier League footballer wearing a mask.

Fast forward to September and we're still no closer to knowing who DIDE is with the betting market staying the same as it was when it was first announced.

DIDE's first YouTube video describes himself as a 'Premier league footballer (who) jumps in the UK music scene with this freestyle video' and it's Eddie Nketiah who remains favourite.

The lyrics from that first freestyle along with DIDE being an anagram of EDDI have made listeners point to Nketiah ever since it was first released and he's the 1/4 favourite.

What the expert says..
Eddie Nketiah is still the 1/4 favourite to be Premier League mystery rapper DIDE with different reports and rumours linking him with being a musician off the pitch!

Arsenal teammate Bukayo Saka also features in the betting odds

Bukayo Saka also features in the betting market to be DIDE and it could well be that his Arsenal teammate Nketiah is a smokescreen for his rapping career.

One of DIDE's releases though talks about growing up on the otherside of London to where Saka grew up in Ealing in West London.

DIDE's accent definitely makes it clear that it's someone who has at the very least grown up in London with a heavy accent that screams that he's from the area.

Sheyi Ojo is a name that is constantly mentioned in the YouTube comments around being DIDE but doesn't feature at all in the betting market.

Who is DIDE? Odds Probability
Eddie Nketiah 1/4 80.0%
Alex Iwobi 3/1 25.0%
Bukayo Saka 5/1 16.7%
Wilfried Zaha 7/1 12.5%
Eberechi Eze 9/1 10.0%
Ivan Toney 12/1 7.7%

Entertainment betting specials continue to be offered

Betting on markets such as who a masked rapper are shows just how far entertainment betting has come with hundreds of markets available across various bookmakers.

Usually we see the basic betting markets with television and movie betting the basic odds offered such as who will win awards shows and who will win reality television series.

Sometimes though we see these niche entertainment betting markets that focus on specific people and this isn't too dissimilar to the Masked Singer betting.
