Betting remains available on the January transfer window with bookies now offering odds on Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher moving to London rivals Tottenham before the window slams shut.
Reports in The Times say that Chelsea are willing to sell the midfielder for the right price with just 18 months left on his contract and Tottenham had tried to sign him back in the summer window.
Chelsea at the time wanted a rumoured fee of £50m which Spurs baulked at and it may be that a lower price can be agreed now with just two days left of the transfer window.
The latest odds now make it 6/4 that Gallagher will move to Tottenham in the next 48 hours with the clubs likely to enter discussions around the signing in the near future.
Gallagher will understandably have reservations over a last minute move though with the midfielder wanting to play his way into Gareth Southgate's England squad for Euro 2024.
