Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is now just 7/4 to win the Premier League Playmaker of the Season award for the fourth time in his career.

The Castrol Playmaker of the Season award has been annually presented since the 2017-18 season with Kevin De Bruyne winning the inaugural award.

Bookmakers have De Bruyne as the clear favourite in the market to win the award for the 4th time since it was created after winning it in 2017-18, 2019-20 and 2022-23.

Bet365's latest betting odds give De Bruyne a 36% chance of getting the award once again which is given to the player who gets the most assists across the season.

Premier League Playmaker of the Season 2023/24 Odds Probability
Kevin De Bruyne 7/4 36.4%
Trent Alexander-Arnold 8/1 11.1%
Bruno Fernandes 10/1 9.1%
Bukayo Saka 12/1 7.7%

Trent Alexander-Arnold is second favourite in the betting market

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is second favourite in the betting to be the Playmaker of the Season in the Premier League next season as his role looks to change.

Towards the back end of last season we started to see Alexander-Arnold move into midfield more and more and that may start to see even more assists for the player.

The right-back is known for his range of passing and creativity and his assists throughout the last few seasons have been important for Liverpool.
