Oasis are evens to confirm reunion before the end of 2024 with constant rumours of it happening
With Liam Gallagher currently on a massive tour of the UK to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic Oasis album Definitely Maybe, odds are now being offered of a reunion confirmed before the end of the year.
Oasis split in 2009 with the Gallagher brothers having a massive backstage bust-up at Rock en Seine festival in Paris and 15 years on from that they have still never reunited for a massive performance.
Various rumours have happened over the years of the brother's getting back together, with a reunion expected by everyone following the tragic bombing in Manchester in 2017 after Don't Look Back In Anger became a big anthem in the city.
That never happened though but now could well be enough time for the beef to have settled between the Gallagher brothers and the latest odds from OLBG's experts say there's a 50% chance of the reunion being confirmed before the end of 2024.
Will the Oasis reunion be confirmed in 2024? | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Yes | 1/1 | 50.0% |
No | 1/3 | 75.0% |
What the expert says..
Noel Gallagher has previously said that neither of them are interested in it
Both of the Gallagher brothers have spoke about the reunion in the past when asked about it with Noel saying in the past 12 months that all Liam has to do is call him rather than talk about it on Twitter.
"He doesn't want it though, he knows that neither of us are particularly interested in it. I know he doesn't want it, I'm very comfortable with what I'm doing and don't give a flying f*ck one way or the other."
Noel has been successful with his own act High Flying Birds after leaving Oasis and he'll continue to tour arena's with his own band, with Liam Gallagher successful himself touring Oasis songs as well as his own solo work.
Oasis are 100/1 to play a secret set at Glastonbury Festival later this month
Glastonbury Festival has secret set TBAs in for the famous festival and Oasis are now 100/1 to play a secret set at the famous event at Worthy Farm later this month.
Glastonbury will kick off on June 26th and Oasis are massive outsiders to be one of the acts who appear for a secret set at the event, with any performance surely being announced in advance.
Oasis have headlined Glastonbury on two occasions with 25 June 2004 going down in the band's folklore as one of their worst ever performances as they headlined the Pyramid Stage at the festival.
