Latest data says Harry Maguire has won more games against Man City than any other Top 6 opponent

Harry Maguire scored the winner for United at home to Copenhagen on Tuesday night and he's been in the team in the last few weeks due to injuries.

The England centre-back could be perfect for this game on Sunday with his record against Manchester City better than any other Top 6 side.

Maguire has the most defeats against City compared to the others, but has come out on top against them on 6 occasions which is more than any other.

Maguire's stats as Manchester United captain put him above the new skipper Bruno Fernandes in terms of win percentage

The summer months saw Maguire stripped of the captain's armband by Erik Ten Hag as he looked to make the squad more of his own.

Ten Hag chose Bruno Fernandes as his United captain but Maguire has a better win percentage with the armband compared to Fernandes.

Of course the Portuguese player has a smaller amount of games as captain of the club, but Maguire has a 56.7% win ratio compared to Fernandes with 50%.

It's interesting to see if this starts to worry Erik Ten Hag with leadership a key part of his United squad and Fernandes will need to step it up in the coming weeks.
