Kyle Walker now 1/3 to join Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window

Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker is now as short as 1/3 to join Bayern Munich this summer following reports that a 'total verbal agreement' has been agreed with the player.

Bookmakers have slashed the odds on Walker leaving and it looks more and more likely that he'll leave the English champions to move to the German champions for the new season.

The latest reports from German journalist Florian Plettenberg say that Bayern now have to find an agreement with Manchester City for Walker with a contract agree until 2025, plus the potential of another year.

Walker will be looking for guaranteed first team football before the Euro 2024 Championships next year after Pep Guardiola started to use 4 centre backs in his defence towards the back end of last season.

What the expert says..
Manchester City's Kyle Walker is now as short as 1/3 to join Bayern Munich this summer with the latest reports from Sky Germany saying that he has agreed to joining the German giants.

Walker could still stay at Man City with odds of 9/4 that he remains

Manchester City will still want to keep Kyle Walker at the club with his spell in Manchester hugely successful, but Pep Guardiola is known to let players leave if they'll be unhappy.

The latest betting odds suggest there's a 30% chance of Walker remaining in Manchester with German publication Bild reporting that Walker prefers an extension with City.

That completely goes against Sky Germany's reports of an agreement with Bayern being close with two big German reporters saying different stories around Walker's future.

Bayern Munich are 2/7 to win the German Bundesliga this season

Bayern Munich are the heavy favourites to win the Bundesliga yet again this upcoming season with last season's title victory their 11th-in-a-row.

Borussia Dortmund blew their chance of winning the title on a dramatic final day of the 22/23 Bundesliga season when they drew 2-2 at home to Mainz.

Jamal Musiala's 89th-minute winner against Koln grabbed the title for Bayern Munich and they're favourites to do so again this season at 2/7.

German Bundesliga Winner 23/24 Odds Probability
Bayern Munich 2/7 77.8%
Borussia Dortmund 5/1 16.7%
RB Leipzig 10/1 9.1%
Bayer Leverkusen 50/1 2.0%
Eintracht Frankfurt 100/1 1.0%
