The opening episode of House of the Dragon had 2.17m viewers on US TV but the 4th episode in the series dropped to 1.81m on cable.
The viewing figures won't give HBO too much to worry about with their streaming figures still rising on the platform.
Episode 4 of the series was the most viewed non-Sport programme on US TV on the night it was aired.

In the UK, the opening episode of House of the Dragon has over 4m viewers across Sky TV's channels and on-demand services.
This is bigger than the 28-day launches for series 1-5 of Game of Thrones in the UK according to Sky themselves.
