It Takes Two is currently the 2/1 favourite with bookmakers for the big award of the night, the Game of the Year award.

It Takes Two favourite for the Game of the Year award this year

EA's It Takes Two has taken over as favourite in the Game of the Year award nominations.

The game's story is around a couple who are planning on going through a divorce, but turn into miniature dolls in the process.

Primarily a co-op game, it centres around working with another player to get to the end of the story and features various different additions to get to the bottom of things.

EA themselves recently added it to their EA Play subscription service, meaning the game has been accessed by many more people than originally thought.

In October this year, the game surpassed 3 million sales and has been a major success for EA.

Ratchet & Clank outsider for the award at 5/1

Sony and Insomniac Games' Ratchet and Clank is the outsider for the award at odds of 5/1.

The game was a major seller for the latest Playstation 5 system, with the adaptive triggers on the new console focused on with this game.

At odds of 5/1 though, bookmakers think the game doesn't rank as high as the other nominees for the big award.

Psychonauts 2 is the other rank outsider for the award, with the XBOX Game Studios title also sitting at odds of 5/1.

Playstation exclusive Ratchet and Clank is the 5/1 outsider for the Game of the Year award with bookmakers. The game focused on using the adaptive triggers on the new Playstation console and has seen as a 'game changer' in the console gaming world.
