Bitcoin's highest ever price remains at $68,789, which it hit back in November 2021, and it would need a massive year to eclipse that.
The latest betting odds now sit at 5/1 for Bitcoin to reach a value of $100,000 at some point in 2024 as the coin hits a 45% rise in the past 6 months.
The US has now allowed Bitcoin to be part of the mainstream investing funds allowing it to become a part of their exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
This could well see the coin rise further and further in the next 12 months and the betting odds suggest a 16% chance it hits that $100,000 figure.
