The betting market around the York and North Yorkshire Mayoral Election shows that it's expected to be close with Conservative candidate Keane Duncan sitting at 11/10 in the odds list.
Latest analysis of polling by Labour suggests that the voting will be close with Skaith given a 34% chance and Duncan given a 31.4% chance according to the Guardian.
Bookies odds say there's a 54.5% implied probability of Labour winning compared to Conservatives chances of 47.6%.
