Uttoxeter 7.00
GETAWAY GLENDA
Career best effort over today's distance in a double figure field on today's forecast good going. 66-1, that was, like today, her third run after a break.
Formerly trained in Ireland, Getaway Glenda may have taken time to acclimatise and can begin to show the form which the form book says she possesses.
Sean Quinlan replaces a claiming rider in the saddle.
The stable saddled a winner on Saturday (ran better than rating suggested).

Sorry to hear about your best friend Jan
7-00 Uttoxeter
LEAPOLDS ROCK
Trainer Philip Kirby ..... ...... . .... ..... .... ..... .......> jockey Brian Hughes
A Philip Kirby trained 6 ear old who has had 7 races over the hurdles winning once and has finished 2nd once. His win came last time out 9 days ago here at Uttoxeter over c/d on good going ridden by today's jockey Brian Hughes when leading approaching the final flight to win by 5 1/2 lengths. He is back in a class 5 handicap over 2 miles on good going, this gelding has run very well in his last 2 races over 2 miles under today's jockey, and is carrying a 7lbs penalty for his easy win over c/d on similar going last time out , has a good chance of following up in this race today.

LEOPARDS ROCK
Won over course and distance just nine days ago and must be in fine fettle with the view of trainer Philip Kirby having the six year old out quickly.
Has a penalty of seven pounds, the way he won here the extra weight should not be an issue, producing another big run.
Has a good pedigree being sired by Rock Of Gibraltar and dam sire Nayef, stamina assured
Could be at his peak at present time and being six can be progressing as he has shown so far with a second and a win, with hopefully more to come.

Mi laddo
Honest type and a consistent performer throughout most of his career, ran seventh last time out and that was the first time he encountered heavy ground conditions, he will appreciate the better going this evening. Can be expected to run his usual consistent race, he's returning after a lengthy break of 178 day,s and has shown in the past to be fairly straight on return after being freshened up. Well capable of getting in the places and could well give the market leader lots to think about. Ridden by Mitchell Bastyan for trainer Milton Harris.

Annual Review
With the fav taking a big part of the market I think there might be a bit of value elsewhere, this one has struggled a little in it's last two runs but those runs were over 2m 4f, drops back to 2m today where he was 4 times beaten less than 10l, in his two hurdles runs he was around horses running off three figure marks now and a repeat of that should get him involved off a mark of 96. Plenty of dead wood in this.

COUER AIMANT
Now down two pounds since last run and trainer travels down with this ex Gordon Elliot horse. Not shown much but could be competitive off this mark and it is a very poor race and at the price could be a sporting each way shot today.

Fleursals
this selection is trained by Tony Forbes , has been racing over the flat and over hurdles in last six races , with only two from the six were over hurdles, with best effort to date a 4th place finish over the distance of 16 furlongs, drops back down to race over 16 furlongs in todays contest, ground should suit,Chris Ward (5) is retained, has ew appeal

7.00U - Fleursals
Ran here two runs ago over todays distance finishing a decent 4th of 9 only beaten 2 1/2L rating 80. Stayed here at Uttoxeter for next run last time out 20 days ago but was upped to 2m 3f 207yds where she had every chance 2out but weakened at the last rating 79. Back to 1m 7f 168yds today will suit with rating down to 77 with same claimer on board.

7.00 Uttoxeter - Leopolds Rock
Rather unambitious selection, but a likely winner with in form Brian Hughes riding for the 3 successive time. He finished 2nd of 12 at Southwell last month before winning over course and distance when 1st of 12, also last month. That was a comfortable win and a penalty today should be manageable. Good going will also suit.

Annual Review
Fergal O'Brien's inmate Annual Review has been racing over further than tonight distance. This modest maiden was well beaten in those two handicaps around the early turn of the year. But he is a possible contender as this drop in trip should suit. Kielan Woods is in the plate.

African Sun
African Sun presents the Joanne Thomason-Murphy stable. He achieved little in flat races but in hurdles, he finished fourth in his last race at Huntingdon, where he finished just ahead of Lleyton who has 3 wins under his belt. So we can conclude that there is some potential in him. He has a good pedigree, his sire is Teofilo. Cillin Leonard claims 5lb

Today going with Fleursals..
Been out twice term, best is 4th.
Ignore last race, trip maybe too far!
Was 4th of 9 here in 1m 7f on good early June.
Got same jockey on board.
Dropping back in trip may help today,
Hopes runs well and gets placed..
