2018 Cheltenham Festival Betting Offers

Postby Gman84 » Sun Dec 31, 2017 1:54 am

We ran a thread like this last year and I think it's worth doing again, so we can note offers and the NRNB markets once they come online.

SkyBet are already NRNB on their sponsored race, the Supreme Novices Hurdle, which kicks things off on the Tuesday. However, they are also the worse price on many of the early market leaders so that is worth noting.

Last year, bet365 were the first to go NRNB on all the Festival races at the tail end of January. I wonder if anyone goes and does it a tad earlier this year?

William Hill and SkyBet are now NRNB on ALL Cheltenham Festival races.

Notbale how much shorter they are in the majority of races than those firms holding fire.

Skybet are going 11/4 for SAMCRO & APPLES JADE today. I’m sure that will appeal to many on here.

Mentioned elsewhere but just to confirm, SkyBet go with their money back as a free bet (up to £20) on the first race of each day of the festival.

Betway did a similar offer last year as well (money back if loser on first and last race), will be interesting to see if they do it again. If so I will have 3+ decent bets on the Supreme all risk free with SkyBet offering as usual.

Paddy Power giving money back as a free bet (up to £10) on the first day if the SP favourite wins.

Ladbrokes doubling winnings on the Supreme Novices up to £50 with the extra winnings coming in the form of free bets.

Given how many offers are around atm that apply to the Supreme Novices and considering many bookies still haven't shown their hand yet, someone more intelligent than me may have an idea how to best spread the betting for this race across these bookies to maximize the chances of a positive return.

Obviously makes sense to whack £10 on with Paddy Power opposing the favourite.
It would probably make sense to go with the favourite on Ladbrokes.
And then you've got Coral (up to £25) and Skybet (up to £20) currently refunding bets as free stakes if you back the loser.
Not to mention what other bookies may apply.

Just a note on the Ladbrokes offer, the (up to) £50 in free bets can only be used on horse racing and must be used within 24 hours.

If you feel like you would use them up on day 1 or towards your day 2 punts putting them on the night/morning before then it's ok, but otherwise, treat that offer with a bit of caution.

This also applies to the Coral offer on the Supreme, if you get your stake back as a free bet it must be used within 24 hours on a horse racing single.
