Interesting that Rich Ricci said he was blown away with Apples Shakira after that Cheltenham romp.

He went on to elude that he was the under bidder in the sales ring, but had to stop as JP had no intention of stopping. When asked at what price he stopped at, Ricci responded...."Enough".

I have to confess she was an early Ante Post play for me, 25's taken.....excited yes, but a long way to go.

Espoir D'Allen but in a good performance on Sunday, quickened well.

JP has the 2 market leaders now....would he re route Apples Shakira to the Mares?

Two races to watch contenders for this coming up on Saturday. One at Cheltenham (first race of the card) and once at Doncaster which the winner a couple of years back, Peace And Co won as part of his build up. We should have at least a bit more to discuss by this time next weekend.

If Apples S puts in another stellar performance on Saturday in the same fashion, they'll be some silly prices been quoted with 3 months to go!

Another solid performance by EDA. I can’t see him out the frame if he’s targeted for this race. Mitchouka a good yardstick and has now beaten him twice comfortably.

I suppose you could argue the point that the yardstick might not be that good?

I think both JP's look top class!

That’s the danger. Will he look to split them in March? If not, I’m happy with the Ew price on EDA, but AS looks the brighter prospect

Looks to be an exceptional group of juveniles this season and I wouldn’t have risked We Have A Dream on that ground at Chepstow today.

Probably a few more to stake their claim between now and the Adonis.

AS is “probably” the potential superstar in the field...but whilst WHAD might not look that visually impressive, it’s the best of the form on offer currently, alongside EDA - both have done just enough to look solid if not spectacular....but will they be fighting out the places anyways.
