Do the bookies know how many votes a certain act has or are they guessing a little bit ad going on votes from previous nights?

Never a contest

Agreed. But they were very good and no-one can say they didn't deserve it. They earned the win fully and congratulations to them. Does it really matter that they were the favourites.
Anyone who has actually read Plato and thinks Atlantis existed, has my sympathy.

Twist and Pulse compete in the world Championships,

Paul Burling has been a professional entertainer for 25 years.

Peridot have Diversity as previous scalps in international streetdance competitions.

Tobias Mead is already earning a living from dancing

It is britains got talent, much the same as opportunity Knock was, as Search for a Star was, and certainly Stars in thier Eyes in which 99% of the entrants were professional singers.

Its a talent contest and there are no rules about what they do for a living.

You can probably distinguish between the ones that make a living and the 100% amateurs...
When you're told you can't do something, do it and prove them wrong
