I scribbled down Christophe Plisson's British 7 year old Mare BLACK MORNING in my notebook 11 days ago citing that 'a step up in trip could help' after this Daughter of DUE DILIGENCE was keeping on nicely in the dying embers in a deeper race @Longchamp 10½f. Well this Charge is upped in trip, Dropped 1lb & drops in Class here @Saint Cloud, Jockey Hugo Lebouc remains in the plate. This charge looks potentially well treated here at decent current 16/1 odds.

Michael Halford & Tracey Collins 4 year old Filly CHERRY PINK has had her two best performances here @Roscommon with two 3rd place finishes, The first back in June just ½ off the winner on good going 5lbs heavier & most recently 7 days ago 4½ lengths behind One of today's Rivals: BARNHILL ROSE who does have a 5lb hike to contend with giving this Daughter of ELZAAM a decent pull at the weights (6lb to be exact) this time around. Trainers know how to get their charges ready when running within a short break (1-7 days) with a 37.50% win strike rate backing this up, duo also have a 40% place strike rate here @Roscommon the past 5 years. 10lb claiming jockey Donagh Murphy takes the reins again & will look to get this girl closer now 1lb lighter. 4 places on offer for a charge that has performed well here in the past at double figure odds looks a decent EW for me.
