You'd imagine he will get much closer to them this time with the initial chase experience and weight swing in his favour. He's clearly a chaser. Hence why the yard wasted little time with him over hurdles. His P2P and overall form would suggest this mark is workable. If he is put into the race this time. I think he's the one to beat in this weak enough affair.

The Bold Thady made his chase debut over CD last time and jumped well. He finished 8 lengths behind higher-rated horses than he meets today without being given a hard time and will have learned from that experience. He gets his favored quicker ground today. The 8-year-old remains progressive in his career, and O'Farrell, who rode him last time, looks the right choice to ride again. He has won here over hurdles, and this is his trip. A price of 11/1 offers a good value EW bet with 4 places paid.
