He stays this trip on the all-weather, and that was a better effort than his previous runs suggested. Remaining on the same mark and in similar company, he has scope to run closer again if the pace is honest and he gets a clear run.

A specialist sprinter, recognized for her effectiveness at 5f, particularly on AW. Her success at Wolverhampton is noteworthy, where she has become a multiple C&D winner. Now a 10-year-old, she typically competes in Class 5 and Class 6 handicaps. At this level she is a serious contender when she returns to her preferred AW venues. While she hasn't added to her 10 wins in over a year, she is well suited to this C&D. With a 7 lb claimer on board, she has potential to make the frame, and the odds of 12/1 offer excellent each-way value.

This race looks pretty thin on talent to me, so I'm going for She Went Whoosh, who had unremarkable form when with Richard Hannon. Scott Dixon, who has had her since November, has got her mark down around 20 lbs since this time last year. Could be overpriced in this poor race.
