Finished last year in good form, having won on both of last 2 outings, including when winning over this course and distance last month. Holds every chance in hat-trick attempt despite being 4 lb higher.

Water Of Leith is an old favourite of mine that just keeps popping up with a win. He has had two wins this year, in January and May, off a 68 on the AW 5f and a 70 on turf at 6f. He took on a bit of weight and has been a bit duff in all runs since at 5f. The latest run last month was back at 6f and showed signs of a return to form when fourth here from a wide draw, just 2L away from the winner and 2L ahead of the next rival. I expect more today with a better draw and the surprise booking of Robert Havlin while still on a 63. Expect a late charge

The 5yo lost his way last year and is now a huge 20 lb lower than his return mark last spring. However, he may have found his level after finishing a close 3rd of 12 four weeks ago. The first and second from that race have both run well since in better company.

The rebooking of Marco Ghiani looks key here since he won well on this horse when it last raced over this C&D. She's only 3 lb higher now, and her profile is less exposed than most of the others. In fact, she is one of only a few that you could argue are ahead of their current mark, and she is going to be very hard to keep out of the frame.

This veteran last won over course and distance in a C4 event in April last year. JP Sullivan took the ride that day off a mark of 66. Same jockey, same mark but drops into a C5. Should be competitive but would prefer the extra-place market. Two recent runs were not so good in higher grade, but this is more realistic. Still risky but worth a punt.

Dropping down the weights substantially, and an interesting jockey booked today. Still somewhat unexposed on this all-weather track, so looks good value and can probably win this.
