Overdose was ultra-consistent in 2024/25, winning 4 times and placed 2nd on a further 3 occasions. Disappointed when last seen at Newbury 47 days ago, but that was a hot Class 2. Lowering his sights here and stepping up in trip can hopefully see him competitive once again.

I think Punta Del Este is overlooked by the market here. He used to be with the Skelton yard and has taken some runs to get up to speed with the current trainer. Today's trip and ground may very well suit, though.

Oh My Johnny is a reliable stayer who should be in the mix again. He ran perfectly well when second at Uttoxeter last time, beaten 9 lengths but pulling clear of the rest. That followed a slightly below-par effort in deeper company, but his recent run says he has bounced back to form again.

Tommy The Tank won a C4 maiden hurdle back in Feb at 3m1f but did not do so well on his return from a break last month on C3 handicap chase debut, with too many mistakes and PU. I think that today's C3 back over hurdles could be worth another shot EW.
