GAELIC PRIDE is a winner of a point-to-point. He won on his first start under rules. He has shown solid form in his first season over hurdles, finishing second on his first two starts and fourth of twelve last time out. That last run was a step up to 2m 5f on ground described as soft (good to soft in places). He looks like he will be better suited by today's drop back in trip on this sharp track. He's rated 123, which sets a strong standard for this company, and he looks a cut above these.

Had shown promise in his three starts in Ireland when trained by Willie Mullins, and did so again on his debut for this yard at Ludlow when third of 15 in a two-mile novice. There should be more to come, and he can’t be left out of any shortlist.
