Veteran who hasn't won for a while but posted his best effort since joining Darryll Holland when third off this mark at Chelmsford last week. Still unexposed on the all-weather and is well in on turf form, so should run well.

Has been performing better than his latest form figures suggest and is now running off his lowest-ever mark of 69. He has won off 72 and 73, so this looks a decent opportunity for him.

After his win at Wolverhampton, he finished a very close second at Lingfield just nine days ago off a 10 lb rise. He is racing off an Official Rating (OR) of 70, but the key booking is apprentice jockey Jack Dace, who claims a valuable 5 lb. This effectively puts him on a mark of 65, which is highly competitive given his recent win and second-place finish. Track & Trip The race is over 5f (Class 5), which is his optimum trip. He has won three times this year, proving his consistency and ability to handle the demands of a busy campaign. While his recent win was at Wolverhampton, his second place at Lingfield confirms he remains in top order on the all-weather. The 5 lb claim from the jockey is a massive advantage in a tight handicap sprint, effectively negating the rise in weights he received for his good form.

4 places on offer tonight and some fair Southwell form. Managed 3rd place in Class 4 in March. Not the most straightforward horse and often goes to post early, but on a going day it usually does OK.

This is a much tougher ask for her than she has faced of late, but she absolutely adores this track. She is the winner of five of her eight starts here, so she always deserves a huge amount of respect when she goes to Southwell.
