Marianne Mozart has a new yard now and she had a long break of one year. Her odds dropped significantly during the last hours. I think she can surprise today.

The 3yo filly is making her debut. She cost 17k gns and should be capable. Good trainer: 6 winners and a 23% strike rate in the last two weeks. This novice stakes looks very weak.

Starfinch does face a tough one on her return from 143 days off. However, she's lightly raced as a three-year-old with potential to improve now tackling handicap company on the all-weather. Kaiya Fraser takes off 3 lb, and the yard's first-time-out strike rate is decent enough if she's sharpened up over the break.

Tabby Kat is a 3yo filly owned and trained by Jane Chapple-Hyam. She has posted an RPR of just 49 in both starts, the latest over C&D, but is entitled to come on for the experience. She's a first foal out of a dam called Maid Millie (GB), who won three times on the AW for today's trainer, Jane Chapple-Hyam. Today Tabby Kat has the benefit of 7 lb apprentice Alexandra Egan, so runs off just 8 st 7 lb. It's a rare runner at Southwell for the yard, who have had just three runners, so today's race may have been seen as a useful opportunity.

Sequential, a Martin Dunne newcomer. She is a half-sister to a 7f winner, with the wisdom of Luke Morris on board. Should go well.
