Having shaped better than the beaten distance on his last two starts, I think BOBALOT is worth a go with 3 places at 9/1. La Higuera & Moveonbuy had a gruelling duel just 11 days at Wetherby and hopefully that has taken something out of them. The nine-year-old has less to prove than the others and hopefully he can go close.

Hobbs Delight has not shown the same form over fences as he did over hurdles, and he looks like he has lost his confidence. He should have a better time in this hurdles race after giving weight away all round in his comeback hurdle race on New Year's Eve at Uttoxeter. Looked progressive over hurdles in 2024, and now with a first-time tongue tie and second-time visor could be underrated.
